Journey To The Savage Planet: Employee Of The Month (EP)

when you die, you get a quest to retrieve your dropped loot from a crate. these only spawn in preset locations just to be sure they aren't out of bounds and soft lock your game, so they often won't be right where you died. ignore this for now. as long as you died on land and not from falling into the void, you can find your previous body exactly where you died and scan it. then you can also bury it to gain a few materials.
if you want an easy spot for this, use the Cliffs of Mt Gzarfyn teleport. there are a ton of enemies right next to it you can aggro and die to. then it'll be super simple to find your body after respawning.
