How to unlock the It's Not In The Game achievement in Journey to the Savage Planet - Definitive Guide

Log in to your PC and in the videos folder,

the file names of all the ad videos begin with ad_
The ads required are:
ad_grob
ad_meatbuddy
ad_minimall
ad_brainwipes
ad_moba
ad_blobline
ad_wedgieburg
ad_puppet

The ads appear to unlock with game progression, The final couple of ads appeared on m computer shortly after upgrading my gauntlet with the Blight Bomb following the FloopSnoot Queen fight

Do you have to watch them or just unlock them? If it's tied to natural game progression, and you don't have to watch them. Seems like this should have a Storymode label.

You do not have to watch them. It’s possible you may need to access the video section on the computer though.

You don't have to watch them on your computer, the main screen will do. Final 2 ads are unlocked right after floor snot queen. Simply hit the play and pause button on your remote 4 times and achievement will unlock, given you watched the other ads

After defeating FloopSnoot queen and upgrading my gauntlet with blight bomb, I have all but ad_puppet. Main solution and comments suggests this is where I should have all videos, so I'm confused. Maybe there is a side quest that I need to do that I skipped over that's not giving me the final one?

Here's the full list of all 8 obnoxious video ads in the order they appear:

GROB
Meat Buddy
Mini Mall Monkey's Micro Mall Plaza
Brain Wipes
MobaMobaMobaMobile VR v17: Golden Fleece Edition
Blobline
Wedgie Burger
We Like Weird

These will all appear at some point whilst playing the game so periodically return to the Javelin and see if any new adverts are available but the trophy won't pop until you check the Videos folder in the ship's computer, after the final advert has been added.

The Hot Garbage DLC adds the following ones that don't count towards this trophy:

Monsta Crib
The Slammers
Core Jacker
