How to unlock the 1-Up achievement in Jurassic The Hunted - Definitive Guide

I found this to be a little hard. In the level U-1229 you'll be in a cave with scorpions and your first encounter with these exploding mushrooms. Don't confused them with the glowing mushrooms on the walls. These exploding mushrooms have what looks like tentacles with eyes. Just stand back a few feet in front of one and wait for a scorpion to walk over the mushroom. Shoot the scorpion once with a pistol and then shoot the mushroom and it should kill him.

Best part of the level to do this mindlessly is the portion when you are at the German U-boat at the turret--if you didn't already pop all the mushrooms there will be something like 12 in groups of three or 4. One shot into the group will set them all off and kill a scorpion in one hit.
