How to unlock the First Encounter achievement in Just Cause 3 - Definitive Guide

As you progress and move through Medici you will occasional see a pale blue icon on the side of the screen with some text and the word : Encounter (it will also have a specific number of metres e.g. 344m). Move towards it till you get there and follow the instructions given. Usually, it will say something like: Free the Rebels and Clear Heat or Pick up Agent and Kill Them by accident. Once you've done the task then your achievement should pop up. smile

Can't really pinpoint a specific encounter that's easy to find, however they appear usually near a liberated town, at least from my experience so far. You'll either get a message over the radio like "a rebel soldier is being taken, stop the transport" or an icon will appear, such as "out of gas". The encounters are very minimal, such as dragging a car to the gas to the gas station, or helping a rebel kill 2-3 soldiers, then driving him to safety, which is about a 3-4 seconds in any direction.

As the game progresses, you will regularly come across various tasks, just do it and the achievement is yours.
