By far the fastest method. Make sure to get yourself into combat with enemies to get the x2 bonus going. I called in a warship and shot a few things till some enemy patrol boats showed up shooting at me, then just proceeded to grapple backwards and forwards to build up the chaos.

Is this still good? I saw some comments on the YouTube video that said it's been patched, just a week or so ago.

The best way to do it. From 9-14 in about 1hr to 1hr30min.
JC2 is my favourite of the 4 games and as they started to move away from the heavy destruction seen in JC2 it meant I really didn’t care to destroy anything. You run out of Bullets way to quick as well. I got to the end of the game and was only level 8 as a result and unfortunately most DLC actions don’t fill the bar.

Tried this for 20 minutes below the bridge and above the bridge, the best I got was 9000. Every 30-40 seconds I would get 5k. Didn't work. The front line is right there, 2x point modifier on, massive number of hellicopters, boats, tanks, trucks, and planes, but I do exactly what the video shows, and only get points every 40 seconds, not enough to add up. 5k here, 5k there. Very inefficient.

EDIT: It started working AFTER I beat the mssion at Prospero Balistica but did not take over Abundanca. I left the lines blue and went back, and t worked.

While I applaud the guide, this still takes way too long for what it is. Which is not to say anything about the method but about the game. If this is the fastest way just to get from 9 or 10 to 14, holy hell that sucks.

I could not imagine how long it would take to get this in a more "legit/intended" way. That kind of staggeringly high amount of points per level is just ridiculous and flat out boring.

Thumbs up though lol

There's a lot of stupid shit in this game, but the level grind easily takes the cake for being the dumbest. I was done with everything else including all 3 DLCs and was still Lv8 before starting to grind.

To avoid the chaos grind in the endgame, focus on destroying as much red and white destructibles and enemy vehicles as you play the game. Engage often in combat, hop on a chopper or tank and run around decimating everything. It's part of what makes Just Cause games fun anyway.

I conquered about 40% of the map, finished 4 or 5 main missions and i'm already at level 9 of chaos. Just going about doing stunts and blowing as much shit as i can in the process.

Just to add to the other 2 solutions. I found that if you plug in your controller, and stand near a frontline, then you can steadily get chaos points from the AIs fighting. Just leave it in the background for awhile, or overnight, and this should help make this grind a little easier. I was averaging 10k chaos points every few minutes.

I just found a random frontline, and stood safely near my allies. I was within shooting distance pretty much. And i was getting 1k to 1500 every minute or so, on average. I may have gotten lucky with my location. Next time im on, I will test it out further

Oh wow really, unless I was unlucky with my location as I only seemed to get the 1000 to come up once. Yeah let me know if you find a particular location works better then others, thanks again.

Thank you for the tip. Could I just ask...I tried standing near friendly AI during the battle and I noticed only a tiny increase in chaos whilst leaving the game for a couple of hours. Did you stand anywhere in particular in relation to the frontline to get the steady 1000?

Seconded on under the bridge. Less junk getting in your way, and rarely do you even need to worry about being shot/bombed/run over/etc

Great method to grind but god damn if this isn't a prime indication of how much worse this game is than Just Cause 3.

I found it even easier to do this below the bridge. Grapple between either of the vertical bridge supports and the rock face just off the beach. It was easier on my hands this way.

I just got the achievement, a better spot to farm the chaos is in islas intichayes region, at the general benítez airport, in its left side there's a bay and some black hand jets fly around it, what I did was pick a conquistador warship and shoot in the direction of the jets, you don't need to hit them, when you have caught their attention 2 machine gun boats will appear, let then get close and when the 2x multiplier appears just hit them, after that they will respawn indefinitely, just shoot and once in a while change your warship so you don't die. And one tip, destroy your allies so the enemies attention is all yours. I was in level 9 before doing this method and took me 3 hours to reach level 14. Hope it helps and sorry if there's misspellings.

Here is a link to my post on Reddit regarding this solution, but I will also copy and paste it here.

https://www.reddit.com/r/JustCause/comments/a5wvk5/how_to_gr...

*DISCLAIMER: I have not tested this in multiple saved games, I have not tested this pre-endgame, I have however had all of the initial black hand soldiers respawn each and every time I died doing this strategy, things get hectic. I was getting a consistent +19k-26k Chaos Points after each bombing run I pulled with the wingsuit. It gets HARD to stay alive.*

I FINALLY found an optimal spot to grind chaos in this godforsaken game EVEN THOUGH I've already cleared all zones and completed the man story. In ISLAS KAUPYES, on the far-east side of the map, PUERTO TULLU has a CONSISTENT spawn of a small group of black hand soldiers, located where my current player arrow is. If someone reads this and can't see the picture or clip, the spawn location is DUE NORTH of the "L" in ISLAS KAUPYES, directly at the concave of the port.) Your allied army of chaos soldiers will try to defeat the Black Hand soldiers, but if you want to 100% the game...

You can't let them.

Eradicate your allies, and then call in any sort of land tank. The tank drop increases enemy reinforcement response time, as well as the lethality of those reinforcements. I recommend the AA Tank you can airdrop in, fastest fire rate and has explosive rounds so the cars they send in to destroy you are turned into swiss cheese. The tanks are a little tougher, however, so be wary of them as well as the Helicopters they send in after you.

After a while, enemy jet fighters will fly in as well, but since you're in a port SO DO ENEMY WARSHIPS! Each warship nets you around 7000 Chaos Points, and spawn infinitely. Soon it will become virtually impossible to stay in a vehicle without it exploding, so you will need to equip the "Black Hand SkyStriker" from the Customize menu. Just do bombing runs back and forth and if you die, Just start over!

After a healthy layer of enemies spawns in, exterminate without prejudice and you'll be on your way to that 100% completion!

Look to the pic and clip below for location, as well as evidence!

In the clip, the initial Black Hand soldiers spawn in on the left side of the white cylinder next to the large hangar building. They will be near the large set of gas tanks (already blown up in my clip) so be careful not to kill them before maximizing your wanted level!

You'll earn a chaos score (2x score when in combat) by taking out enemy equipment (satellite dishes, fuel tanks, radio masts...basically anything red/white) and enemy vehicles. How you do it is up to your creativity. Once you've unlocked helicopters with missiles and miniguns, you can do this more efficiently by sweeping over the area. On the ground, tanks and warships work good, as well as tethering/using heavy weapons. Ammunition on vehicles isn't unlimited like previous games but there's still a generous amount.

Some story missions you can grind a bit because of respawning enemy vehicles. Then you can move onto the next objective when you've had enough. There is more than enough equipment on the island to achieve this if you don't have it after finishing the story. Unlocking this achievement should give you all pilots too:

Alternate solution for new game. As somebody that had the game reset the server and the chaos level 14 and pilots achievements did not pop, I had to start a new game. Unfortunately New Game + just gives you all the pilots at the word go, so I figured that would not work.

So starting a new game fresh for just level 14 I tried the stand at a battlefield for the chaos to rise. This method was to slow for me.

So I found a good spot to grind vehicles. In the Hamparas region, there is the mission Robotica Raid. When you get to the spot to raise the antenna, press the button and get on the AA gun. You can shoot helicopters and drones out of the sky pretty easy. If the blueprints almost get fully decrypted you can shoot the transmitter yourself to reset. You reload right at the AA gun and repeat as needed.

I hope this can potentially help somebody in a similar situation or somebody just looking to get it out of the way early.

After many updates Ive decided to take inspiration from many solutions and merge them into my own. It is shorter than my paragraph here lol:
1) DONT attempt this from the start if you are inpatient it is way easier the further in game you are (you need a Warship blueprint and at least 2-3 pilots)
2) You need a lake with some civilians nearby or Black hand in fire range. I used islas intichayes region, at the general benítez airport. Spawn yourself a Warship and then fire at every jet, boat, civilian in sight and soon 2 Black hand patrol boats will come. It is important to NOT kill them before the red 2x (spotted) appears in top right corner. Either shoot near them or ram them. If you kill them before it appears they will lost track of you and you have to gain their attention again. So after you kill them, another reinforcements will come with more boats (more points). It is very possible that they will again lose track of you but that is not problem just ram them again while they are searching for you (yellow state).
PS.: Dont forget to spawn a new warship when youll have low health. ( Thats why you need at least 3 pilots)
3) When you are going to sleep or away, go to any warzone (if you have still some left) where the AIs fight over regions and stay in a safe spot. Everytime your allies kill an enemy youll get points so just plug in you controller and leave it. This process is very slow (after 6 hours I got half a meter) but its better than nothing.

I started with level 10 and got 14 in a few hours.

This is my first solution ever so I appreciate every feedback! toast

Contrary to the solution of attacking the port at Islas Kaupyes (see link below), it seemed to me that there is a more effective way to fill the chaos meter. I flew from base to base with a helicopter and raised the combo counter up with chains of explosions. This way, within a couple of seconds and with only few chaos objects, you can get a combo of 20,000 - 25.000+ points. In every major base or facility there are a couple of such spots where this is possible.

When you have destroyed everything, fly to the next base and repeat the procedure.

This achievement is probably going to be one of the last ones that you unlock. For me personally, after completing every side mission and stunt, I was at chaos level 12.5. Even then, I still had to grind this for a bit. Here is the best strategy to grind this out post game:

  1. Head to the region Islas Kaupyes on the map (far right towards the middle of the map).
  2. Look for the tall fuel tanks. Right next to them you will always find a couple of black hand soldiers fighting. Get into conflict with them and wait for the 2x to appear in the top right.
  3. Don't kill them all immediately; wait for reinforcements to arrive. While you're waiting, air drop in a tank.
  4. Continue to blow up the vehicles, tanks, etc. of reinforcements that arrive.
  5. IMPORTANT: Keep a look out for ships, these are worth 5000 chaos points each.
  6. Hijack one of the smaller ships that has the homing missiles (it has a mounted gun enemy on top and the driver, kill them both and get in).
  7. Being in a ship yourself increases the spawn rate of other enemy ships. Use this to your advantage. The homing missiles will quickly destroy every ship netting you 5000 chaos per kill.
  8. While waiting for the ships to respawn, continue destroying incoming vehicles and tanks on land.
  9. If you die (which is likely due to blowing up randomly while piloting a vehicle), you will respawn right in the same area and can continue immediately.

For a video explanation of the same method, check below.

Using this method, I was able to reach level 14 in about an hour starting at level 12.5. When you finally reach chaos level 14, the achievement will unlock.

This trophy will most likely be the last trophy you need as it’s a bit of a grind to reach level 14 of chaos.

The first thing I would recommend is destroying every explosive red/grey thing you see when playing the game, especially when you’re in combat against the black hand as it doubles the points earned. This is not required for completing areas unlike previous games, but destroying them nets you points for your chaos level. The good thing is that these explosive things is they reappear after a while, but this is not the best way to grind this trophy post game.

So once you have completed the game you should be around Level 8. The other good thing is that destroying the black hand vehicles will also net you a lot of points. The bad thing is when you secured all the areas, there are not much enemies left. But you will always find enemies in this location:

Credits to Lightsp33d1987 for the video.

Go to this location and shoot your friends so they don’t kill the enemies. Don’t kill the enemies yet but wait for back up. When they come with vehicles, call a chopper and start destroying them, they will soon come with choppers. When they do, call the Corvette boat and drop it on the water behind, back up a bit and shoot the choppers. The enemies will now spawn with boats and corvettes, destroy them all until your boat is about to explode, call another boat or still one enemy boat and repeat to farm chaos points. If you die, you will respawn near the enemies, so simply repeat this operation.

If you suddenly captured the entire territory before reaching level 14, then this is not a bad way:
https://youtu.be/JhMR5Iqvydc
Well, for those who get tired of jumping like me, here’s my simplified analogue:
https://youtu.be/hx1qh45YL7k
But for this you need to open a weapon with a drone in the third DLS.
The fact is that when you cross a certain point on the map (mine is marked with a box of weapons), you are awarded 5000 experience. In the method with a drone, you can, of course, also aggravate enemies for a multiplier, but with it you are a very good target, and the drone will kill enemies.

For faster farming of chaos points, instead of a drone or a hook on a bridge, it is better to use a hook under the bridge between the bridge support and the shore, as in this video:
https://youtu.be/IYKdW1bYHyI
Angry enemies will give you a multiplier, but won't interfere.

Don't rush to capture locations. First, you perform all the tricks in it, open statues, tombs, missions, and then when it is 100% explored, you already capture it.
While you are flying on the same wingsuit, fighting is going on around you. Equipment killed by the militia also counts, but opponents may not aggro at you at all, and the chaos increases little by little.

By the end of the game I was at level 10.5. In practice, it is faster to farm by destroying red buildings on bases from a siege helicopter. Although combat with enemies gives x2, the points are not given as intensively.

It's better to leave it for the end so that there are more pilots and you don't have to wait for them to recharge to teleport between bases.

Try not to capture the Rio Vanai Delta area until you reach Chaos level 14!

I independently found a method that gives an average of 20,000 - 30,000 chaos points within a minute, below is a screenshot of the screen with the location. The essence of the boost is to fly to a military base, on an attack helicopter, which should be available in your supplies (request for equipment and weapons), then destroy the chaos objects marked in red, and then begin to destroy ships, which will constantly be reborn and give 2X - a multiple increase in experience 5000 per unit. I haven’t tried the method of moving from base to base, but if you compare the points by comparison, then for one chaos tank without 2x magnification you get 2500, but at the same time it is limited, you need to move to another location to find a new one, order a helicopter and so on, accordingly it turns out more time consuming than hovering in the sky and shooting at boats until the ammunition runs out

I also attach an expanded, own video https://youtu.be/fxkr55cGc_Y

I did it a little differently, called the Conquistador ship to the roof of the base and shot at everything
Or here’s the easiest way when you’re too lazy to fly, Find the cross where the war is going on, hide and go to bed leaving the game on. In the end, your allies will farm you themselves
