How to unlock the Drone Joust achievement in Just Cause 4 - Definitive Guide

The intention of this is for you to be riding one drone and killing an agent on another drone - but if you're having difficulty with that, it also works if you grapple to an occupied drone and shoot the agent on it at point blank range.

Maddening. The allied drones prioritize enemy drones, no matter how many other enemies are on the field. Grappling to an occupied enemy drone is unreliable at best because the agents jump away immediately. I got lucky with the enemy hovering far enough away that my drone wouldn't target it before I could snipe him.

USS Codetaker is the easiest ship to do this at, lots of drones with enemies on them, just use any kind of launcher (I used secondary launcher on a machine gun) to blow up the enemy and drone. Your drone does not need to be friendly.

This achievement has to be bugged I ve done it 10+ (Edit now 30+ giving up on this bs)times it just won't pop. Friendly/unfriendly drone, shoot only the agent with sniper/agent+drone with explosive, wait on a drone/grapple onto one after the agent does nothing is working. There are YT videos about this so I know I m doing the right thing and someone else on PC can't seem to unlock so whoever puts the tags on these needs to add this one as BUGGY.
Finally got it on a different day, 1st try by doing the exact same thing I've been doing all along (hopped on unfriendly drone sniped the agent from afar) so I recommend fully closing the game or even console if it doesn't seem to register for you like it did for me..

Getting this achievement done is all about finding the right location and that is at USS codetalker (the most northern ship).
I completed this ship and done this at the 7th ring on the hover board challenge. Have the rocket launcher as the second weapon and just wait on the drone
