You can be both 3 and 4 stars with players with this solution. (without having more than one person playing, and maybe not even that.
Place 4 objects. you don't need to worry about dressing them, just be sure to use large surface area objects
I used an ottoman on it's side
the back of a lazy boy
a normal chair with a jacket over it

Simply line them up one by one, moving them in front of yourself to get them identified.
I will point out that the lighting was darker. two lights at night.
after the camera has detected them, play the 'this is halloween' song. It has a wide range for mistakes.
Now just move each chair after you play the song to improve it's number of stars. Eventually you will line them up and they will all get 4 stars.
I should note, that i noticed that many times when i moved, it altered the stationary objects. I don't think there is anything you can do about this. just keep trying.
