How to unlock the I could do this all night! achievement in Just Dance 3 - Definitive Guide

It has been confirmed that you can do the Short version of the song for this achievement [thanks Axel GERMANY]

Not sure whether or not backing out to the main menu (whether on purpose or accidentally) will affect the achievement, but to be safe let's not. To prevent from this happening I suggest using the controller to navigate menus.

So, go into the 'Songs' menu and select the first song you want to do. Any song is fine, but you'll likely just want to go alphabetically starting at "Apache (Jump On It)" and work your way to "What You Waiting For". After each song hit 'Play Next Song' to move on to the next.

The only other requirement is that you get at least one point in each of the 42 songs, you don't have to actually dance to every song if you don't want. If your sitting on the floor on your laptop or whatever, the game still counts you doing some move usually. To be safe you can stand a do a move or two to score some points.

If you get through all the songs in one go and don't have the achievement, go to 'song selection' and see if there are any you didn't score points on. Play those songs and the achievement should unlock then if it hasn't already.

You'll also earn the "Just Dance Master" achievement if you haven't already.

First off...thanks litepink for the solution. Second, I just thought that I would confirm that you can still get this achievement using the short version of the songs. The entire run-through of the songs took me about and hour and a half, but I probably could have done it in about 10 fewer minutes if I wanted to.

Lastly, before I voted positive for this solution, only one person had voted at all for it. As someone who has written solutions and helped people out when they asked me follow-up questions, only to get no love on the voting front, all I can say is that, if you are using someone's solution and a) the solution works and b) they take the time to answer questions and update the solution (like litepink clearly has), then you should give them a positive vote for the solution. Just by reading the comments, at least 3 people other than myself have used her solution - so in my opinion more people should have given her the "thumb's up" for her efforts.

Sorry for the rant, but that kind of stuff bugs me.

well if you did it on the long version, then i guess i will go ahead and start it on that until someone else responds and tells me otherwise. i just wanted to finsih the achvments i could until tomorrow when dance central 2 comes out cuz i know when i get it, this game will be put up until im done with dc2. also, im kinda frustrated cuz im living outta state right now and its just me and my bf who works all day and doesnt wanna dance and i dont know anyone around here, but im riffed cuz all these other achievements are for 2 and more players. like theres no way im gonna get the 4 player achvments.
hey do you know much about the constellation maker achvment? it says i need 3-5 stars on choreography from songs in the "songs" menu. so what mode do i need to be on and how do i earn this achvment? also, if its just dancing to songs in the songs menu, how do i know if im even close to getting these achvments? sorry if im asking you a bunch of dumb questions, im just very ocd about achvments! lol!

Songs menu means the regular Dance mode where you select songs individually. DO NOT play on a Playlist (like non-stop shuffle) or Specials for this or the constellation maker achievements.

You can see your progress in the Songs menu by looking at the song before confirming your selection. It'll tell you how many points and how many stars you've earned on that particular song.

If you have the energy, try to 3, 4, or 5 star as many songs as you can while you do this achievement. You can take breaks in between if needed. I was busy doing something else so I only danced a few of them myself.

I got this achievement using the short songs as well so thankies for the shortcut :) For those wondering, you can change to the "Short Dance" option in Extras under Settings.

+1!

I'd just like to point out with short songs enabled this only took me an hour and a half. I did this while working from home on my laptop with the sound turned down.

Just to update to the top solution. I just did it starting at Price Tag, when I finished Barbara Streisand the game started going crazy and booted me back to the main menu. I redid Barbara Streisand and when I got to Pata Pata (which would be the last song before price tag) the achievement unlocked at the end of the song. So if you hit retry by mistake or go to the main menu by mistake as long as you don't exit the game completely and go back to the dashboard it will still count the progress as "in a row"

In the main menu you can set the song length to short under "Extras" in the "Settings". For this you just put a hook on "Just Dance (short)". Begin alphabetically with the first song and then select "Next Song" at the end of each song. Only then can you unlock the success. If you accidentally click on "Song Selection", you'll have to start all over again. Therefore, the menu control with the controller is recommended.
You do not have to completely dance to each song but at least get a note (OK, Good, YEAH !, or Perfect).
