How to unlock the Perspective Shift achievement in Kao the Kangaroo - Definitive Guide
There are four new levels in this DLC, and they are accessed in the same order as the achievement list/guide. You'll need to use runes to unlock them, just like in the base game, but this DLC basically hands you the rune needed, rather than making you find any. There will be a rune in the hub when you start, and each level ends with a single obvious rune, so there is no need to track any down to access each level. For finding the level entrances, just look for the giant purple glow radiating from each level entrance.
In terms of the achievements, each level's default is Easy Mode, and you'll need to beat the level on Easy Mode to unlock Hard Mode, at which point you can then change the difficulty of the level (by pressing ) to Hard Mode, replay it and beat it. This means you need to play all levels twice to unlock all of these achievements, since you don't have access to the Hard version right away. Also worth noting is that, while playing each version, you should be ensuring you collect all diamonds to ensure you don't need to replay any levels. Refer to Diamond Fever (100G) for a guide to the locations of all diamonds in this DLC. Keep that handy while you progress through each level.
Regarding Hard versus Easy mode, there isn't a marked difference. The main things that change are: if you have scripted fights against groups of enemies to progress, there will be more on Hard; any time trials present in levels have tighter timings to complete them to progress; and the third and fourth levels have some more challenging platforming rather than the version in Easy mode. In my opinion, the only hard thing about Hard mode is the time trials in some of the levels. Some of them are very tight on Hard mode, to the point where, even after a few attempts, I was finishing with only a second or two left on the clock, and that was with no real mistakes at all. Thankfully, they're all relatively short (well under a minute), so it's not like you have to perfect a long string of inputs. Just be prepared to have to attempt some of them a few times to get them just right, and don't be afraid to tank some damage to avoid slowing down.
