How to unlock the Tears of Joy achievement in Kaze and the Wild Masks - Definitive Guide
Olaf is a fairly easy boss fight for the most part, with the last cycle being the biggest challenge (as expected, but moreso than compared to previous bosses).
Unlike past bosses, where the phases have consisted of various different obstacles, Olaf's phases only consist of one mechanic while you wait for him to appear. Chains of plant enemies will come out of the walls and floor at various intervals. The walls and floor will glow purple like a portal before they appear so you have time to get out of the way. They are always in a straight line, so you don't need to worry about them curving or anything to come get you. Once you dodge all of the enemies for that phase, Olaf will come by on some sort of chariot crossing from one side of the screen to the other. When he gets close to the other wall, use your climb ability to jump up and over his plant mounts, and slam his head. This cycle will repeat three times, getting progressively harder.
The third cycle is particularly worth noting. The first cycle, it's just a flat surface and the enemies come from the walls and floor. The second cycle, the floor becomes three platforms with gaps in between, but nothing crazy. The third cycle, the two side platform raise up high, and there is nothing in the middle but a pit of acid at the bottom. The plants will out of the top of the platforms, the acid, the walls at the top of the platforms, and the sides of the platforms inside in the pit. This cycle relies heavily on your ability to climb and stick to walls, and timing your jumps off the walls properly.
As usual, after the third hit the boss will be defeated. I've included my no-hit run of this boss as a video below.

Defeat the boss on Island 3 for the trophy.
Story-related; cannot be missed.
Olaf's Lair is the boss of the third world, and involves you playing as the tiger so you can climb walls and dodge. Much like the previous fight, this fight consists entirely of dodging enemies until the boss exposes itself. I found it easiest to stand in the middle and just dash over top of the horizontal ones, then out of the way of the vertical ones. The first two phases are simple enough to just dash back and forth. As soon as the large red wall appears, climb up the opposite one so you can dash onto the boss's head. The third phase forces you to climb on walls, but you have plenty of time to react to where the enemies are spawning from. Stay high in the first half and then low for the second half, then finish off the boss with a final hit.
