You can go into options and set the game to extremely easy if you wish to make this easier. The main arcade ladder has 11 total fights in it. 10 fights with main characters of the game and 1 boss battle with Gargos. You can die and continue your progress from your current position and still obtain this achievement. Gargos is a little more difficult than the normal cast of characters mostly due to the fact that he can regenerate his life back. My tactic i used to beat him was to set the game on extremely easy and then repeatedly jump over him with a jump kick to the head and land with a sweeping kick to the legs over and over. He will still get in some hits but this will work more often than not. Once his health is down to 0 you still need to do a move that launches him into the air to defeat him. Once you have defeated him the achievement unlocks during the cutscene that follows.
