How to unlock the Just One More! achievement in Killer Instinct 2 Classic - Definitive Guide

This Achievement basically translates to 'Retry 400 times'. You can do this with either one Controller or two Controllers, but the two Controller method is much faster.

One Controller

If you have one controller, you can start go into the Options on the Main Menu and raise the difficulty to the highest level and start an 'Arcade' (Local). Let the AI beat you, then Press A during the countdown to use a 'Credit', and repeat.

Non-Turbo Turbo Boost - Credit: FelizP: You can rubberband your controller's A button in order to automatically restart arcade every time you lose. If you have a wired controller or a Micro-USB to plug a wireless into your console, you can essentially Idle Boost this by starting Arcade and keeping the A button held. According to comments, even if your controller is plugged in, it will still disconnect from just having the A button held, therefore you'll need to be active and moving the Analog Stick ever few minutes to prevent disconnection.

Two Controllers

A much faster method for anyone who has Two Controllers. Press A on a Second Controller during an Arcade run with Player One; pick a character with your first Controller then hold cn_down and press cn_B which should display 'Spinal - Ship' in the centre of the screen. Pick Sabrewulf with your Second Controller then quickly hold cn_down and press cn_B once again. If you did this correctly, the centre of the screen should say 'Stage: Sky'.

On this special hidden stage, you can knock the Opponent out of the ring and win very quick; there is a slight disadvantage to being the Second Controller on this stage, since the default position is not in the centre and as such it's harder to Ring Out in the first few seconds. By picking Sabrewulf, we can perform a very simple combo on Player One that will knock them out within 2 seconds. Jump at the Opponent and Press cn_RT then, as soon as you land, press cn_left + cn_RT and then immediately input cn_right, cn_left + cn_RT. The second RT press will be a two hit Auto, so you have more than enough time to input the final move; doing this combo will allow you to knock out the Opponent in 2-3 seconds.

Once the falling animations begins playing, press cn_A on the Second Controller until the game requires Player One to 'Continue' (You might be asked to input a name, but this should only work once), so press cn_A on the first Controller, then A once again on the Second Controller; this will send you back to the Character Select; from here follow the previous steps, picking the Sky Stage, and repeat.

This might seem complicated at first, but once you get used to it you can use tokens very quickly. It will take you 3-4 hours to grind all 400 if you use the Two Controller method.

I was just coming here to post this exact same solution.

Just one thing to add. I find it easier/faster to jump in and then down + RB (for Spinal and TJ) or RT (for Maya) to knock them off.

After some experimenting, I realised that it was a lot quicker to perform a combo to knock the Opponent out; i've included a very simple Sabrewulf combo. Player 2 starts at a disadvantage, the default starting position means that Player 1 can walk up and uppercut to win, but Player 2 has to push the first Player slightly first. The combo for Sabrewulf does this nicely :)

For whatever reason this and glacius are my only two achievements that two controller method won't work on. Im watching the progress bar and only those two refuse to go up

Remember that this achievement is player two beating player one, unlike the other achievements

I personally believe that doing it by yourself on hardest is say quicker, get to the ladder where Glacius is and let him pummel you just keep moving towards him. You can also input Down and Fierce Kick to unlock Ultra speed which speeds the whole match up, each match I timed took 25-30 seconds from start of fight all the way to next fight after each continue. You have to input Down and Fierce Kick every character selection.

Huh, I never would have guessed that would have worked. I'll add to the guide and give you credit. Thanks

I plugged my wireless controller in to do this but even plugged in after a set time it turns itself off so the idle method doesn't really work. I'm using the gears of war red controller.

I eventually did this by putting a weight on the A button and watched programmes on my tablet, wiggling the control stick every 10 minutes. I did it over several days to make sure I didn't burn out.

I will update the solution with the comment about the 'Idle' solution. Thanks.

Wow, I never said what I did. lol. I think I just let TJ Combo beat me or something. I think I was having issues with sky stage or something. I don't remember.

Mine works fine leaving wired controller on with a banded. Doesn't time out or disconnect or go to sleep for me.

It seems to be fastest to just put it on hardest difficulty and rubber band 1 controller. I don't know why anyone would want to actively play 2 controllers instead of idle 1.

Thumbs up

Been rubber banding this for the last 5 hours or so - definitely takes longer than the 1st classic game to have the AI kill you. Would recommend just leaving it on overnight, 6-ish hours seems about right to pop it.

Posting here in case someone hasn't mentioned it yet. You can actually rubber band the A-button in Arcade Mode (or place something heavy on it) while letting the CPU pummel you and the game will keep continuing for you once you are defeated. This means you can let your game go idle and the controller will repeatedly continue for you until you get 400 tokens used. You don't even need a Turbo Controller for this. Just make sure you used a wired controller or plugged charger though.

We set it to super difficulty. We launch the game without a network. It is desirable that the opponent be a Werewolf. He will kill you faster. We launch movies or TV series. And click repeat after death. If you have a turbo joystick, then everything is even easier.
