Set the difficulty to very easy. You will need to complete 10 fights before getting to gargos. You can use any character, then die at gargos, continue and then select Fulgore or you can select Fulgore from the start.
Knock down gargos' health to zero by jumping towards and pressing
then jumping away, alternating occasionally to also attack with 
. Alternately, jump towards and mash down, down towards, towards, 
. Do not get knocked to the sides and occasionally jump over gargos. When he is at flashing red health, you will need to launch him into the air to finish the match.
Press:
(From the left of the enemy)
(From the right of the enemy)
whilst next to him to uppercut him (if you've been using in battles up until this point you may have performed this a few times already). My preference for directional buttons is the d pad and you should be pressing them in a swift continuous motion.
Achievement unlocked.

does make it clearer, but you can also do a on the left side and a on the right side instruction set if its really that big an issue..i just find it easier to quickly find the buttons to press when they are buttons and not words but thats just me

if your character is on the left side of the screen:

that way if someone reads the comments and sees this it'll help them if theyre like me and prefer little symbols

great guide! only thing i would change is instead of righting forward, down, down, forward, simply do ...makes it easier to see!
