Remember that to defeat Gargos, you have to do a move (generally uppercut) that knocks him into the air. (As his death animation is strictly falling off the bridge)

For Jago, his tiger uppercut works when Gargos is in flashing red health.

My strategy to whittle him down to low health was a jump attack followed by a leg sweep (). Very easy difficulty.

Set the difficulty to very easy. You will need to complete 10 fights before getting to gargos. You can use any character, then die at gargos, continue and then select Jago or you can select Jago from the start.

Knock down gargos' health to zero by jumping towards and pressing then jumping away, alternating occasionally to also attack with . Do not get knocked to the sides and occasionally jump over gargos. When he is at 0 health, you will need to launch him into the air to finish the match. Press down, down back, back, next to him to uppercut him. My preference for directional buttons is the d pad and you should be pressing them in a swift continuous motion.

Achievement unlocked.
