Winning a Ranked match won't come easy. It takes knowledge of your character and knowledge of your opponent's character. The more you play the easier wins will come because you will learn the tendencies of online players. People are creatures of habit and you will notice that people repeat the same things over and over again online.
You only need to win once to earn this achievement.
For Maya the best thing to learn quickly is how to use her knives. If you are holding both knives you can do an air dive attack that is unblockable. Throwing the knives does damage but you lose them. If they block the knives the knives build their own meter and can do special things. Once you have instinct the knives return to you automatically so it works really well to just go crazy with them.
