How to unlock the Dagger Storm achievement in Killer Instinct - Definitive Guide

This can be done in Practice Mode. Pause the game and press cn_LB or cn_RB twice to reach Practice Options. Set Instinct Meter to Refill or Infinite.

Within the game, activate Instinct with HP+HK (default: cn_RB+cn_RT); now when you use her various Dagger Strikes, the blade boomerangs back. Use cn_downcn_downrightcn_right+cn_X, cn_Y, or cn_RB until the achievement unlocks.

This achievement doesn't seem to be unlocking for me.
I use my instinct and am using the quick dagger strikes. (I get a quad hit every attack).
I've tried it with Instinct set to infinite and to refill, and still nothing.

I can post a video of my instinct attacks. Maybe you or someone could see what I might be doing wrong?

Okay, so I just unlocked this. I was moving forward(to the right) and using light punch (X button).
RB was using heavy attacks.

You are correct; just took it to a boosting account and using Savage Strikes no longer works. Must've been a launch error. Updating accordingly.

Wouldnt unlock for me until i set instinct meter to refill. Had an easier time with the combo move and having the pc walk toward me

12/6/20 works get opponent to the corner. make sure instinct bar is infinite. spam RB+X+Y+right D pad and up D pad

right thumb on X+Y alternating spam
right pointer finger RB spam
left thumb spamming right and up on d pad with opponent toward the wall

repeat for id say a few minutes honestly the 5 minutes in practice mode popped for me on her. keep doing it I promise I suck more than you at this game.

It wouldn’t unlock for me until I backed off and started using the cn_downcn_downrightcn_right+cn_X (I hope it shows up properly) move and it popped after using it 10 times.

this achievement sucks. tried all the suggestions but it just wont pop

okay i got it to work. looks like it bugged out and the game needed a reboot, if youre having trouble definitely give that a go

Couldn’t get this to work for me no matter how many times I tried. Tried restarting my game as well, still doesn’t work.

i just kept spamming down down left x,y till it poped did way more then 10 to unlock it

We do the following:
  • From the main menu go to One player – Improvement – ​​Training
  • Select Maya and any opponent
  • Pause (menu button) and select the following settings:
    Workout Settings
    Instinct indicator – Infinite
  • We activate instinct ( RB + RT ) and during its action we attack with daggers ( , , + ) until victory
