How to unlock the Jago Chosen One achievement in Killer Instinct - Definitive Guide

200 Matches Guide

1) Go to Local

2) Open up a versus Player vs. CPU

3) Set the difficulty for the CPU to KYLE "hardest difficulty"

4) Choose character in which you are going for 200 Matches

5) Start the match, and let the CPU win

6) Average match time ranges between 30-50 seconds

7) You can check progress under the CPU during a match it shows its wins.

8) Check back occasionally, and press rematch. Then continue the process until you hit 200 matches.

EXTRA: It doesn't really matter what computer you pick to beat you I personally went with Glacius because he is strong and has a lot of ranged attacks.

Can you get this without paying any money?

You should note that this is the LAST thing you should do for any of the characters. Knock out the Survival Mode, Exhibition vs. Friend (diff characters if needed), & 20 Ranked Wins first since those matches count towards the 200.

Conversely, you can set it on the easiest setting and you can win within 20-40 seconds and collect multiple fight titles along the way.

You can always glue bird seeds to the A button and put it in your birds cage. That is if you have a bird.

If playing on Kyle, set the 2nd/ AI character to Spinal. He'll usually finish you in 20 seconds or less, plus the cinematics. You only need to half pay attention in order to start the next match.

Wow! Really? When I use him, he usually only takes about 11 seconds per healthbar.

Only thing I can imagine is there being a huge difference between playing on X1 versus playing on pc/laptop. On my laptop it takes about 30 seconds for Spinal to deplete one healthbar. If I can find the time I'll reinstall KI on my X1 again (after deleting 65GB laugh ) and see if that makes a difference.

This may no longer be the quickest option, playing against most cpu resulted in the cpu jumping back and forth a lot and most fights taking over 1 minute, it may be quicker to play through survival against cpu on beginner difficulty as I was completing matches in 30-40 seconds

I honestly don't get how people got the matches to last as short as only 20 seconds. On Kyle difficulty the fastest match I got was 55 seconds. Add the time for the cinematics you can't skip, total time per match is 1 minute 20 minimum.

@HyruleBalverine unfortunately I am already fighting against Spinal. He is the fastest (but not by much) with a time of 1 minute and 20 seconds per match cry. And that's only if he doesn't decide to finish the match with an ultra, which happens quite often.

The quickest way I found to do this was the same way as the other solution to play a match on the hardest difficulty but fight against Spinal as on average he won the match the quickest on average 20.4 seconds per match and don't choose Hisako as she took on average 31.6 seconds to win . Below I have included all of the average match times worked out over 5 matches against Jago on the KYLE difficulty. I have also included a video if anybody would like to see this guide in visuals.

Jango:21.4
Sabrewolf:22
Glacius:21.6
Thunder:22.2
Sadira:21.8
Orchio:25.4
Spinal 20.4
Fulgore:25.6
TJ Combo: 26
Maya:25.8
Kan Ra: 30.8
Riptor 23.2
Omen: 23
Arganos: 29
Cinder:25.6
Aria 24
Hsako 31.6

I would say 1.5 to 2 hours there is a little loading time that I didn't factor in to the win time

This is a solution for all 200 matches played for Killer Instinct, not that its absolutely needed but I would like to have the best way of doing this for all the solutions and tips for doing it.

1) Each character will take about 3-4 hours of to hit 200 matches in total.

2) When setting it up go into Player VS CPU and hit cn_Y changing the difficulty to KYLE difficulty.

3) Choose the character you want and put your opponent as Spinal (According to DARK X STEVE Spinal kills the fastest on average after running some tests. I would agree after using him my self seems to be quite fast.

4) If you keep the game running visually hit cn_A 2 times every time the matches ends.

5) Your wins are shown below the enemies health bar, if you do back out or turn your xbox off you can see how many wins you have by hitting the start/menu button>Fight Archive>Fight Challenges>Character you are working on and scroll to Versus matches doing it this way only shows up to 100. If you want to keep track past 100 just write it down somewhere like Notepad if you have to get off in the middle of doing a character.

6) If you want to keep this going and you walk away from your Xbox OR if you change the screen but still have the game running on a different input you can double hit the cn_A button every once and a while, or keep hitting it which will probably slow down your wins per hour but its better then forgetting about pushing the button. If you have more than 1 TV you can keep the game running and watch TV or play 360 while hitting the A button when needed. OR if you have a Laptop you can keep the game running while on the internet or playing videos/TV shows/Movies on the laptop (my method) keeping the game in view and hitting A when needed.

7) If you want to go above and beyond and expect to get more achievements on this game you can hit cn_RSu up on the right analog stick when instinct mode is active which will help towards the Fight Challenges achievements.

If you have anything to contribute to these solutions please comment or send me a message, thanks!

If you’re willing to spend a little bit of money, I highly recommend buying a PXN-0082 fight stick. It can be found for very cheap on eBay. This is compatible with both xbox one and xbox 360

With one of these you are able to idle the 200 fight achievements by using the turbo button. I would turbo the cn_A and remap the controls to either bumper or trigger.

Use a rubber band to make the joystick go the right. By doing this and putting the difficulty to beginner, it will also grind some fight challenges.

If you’re only interested in the 200 matches, put the difficulty to KYLE, Turbo and hold the cn_A and remap the cn_A to perform a taunt. This is the quickest, painless way.

Just a recommendation!

This guide is for the Chosen One achievements for completing 200 matches as a specific character.

You need to play and complete 200 matches as the fighter you want the achievement to pop for, wins and loses both count. All game modes count towards matches played achievement, so all story related matchs, survival matches, online matches ranked or exhibition, and all shadow mode matches count.

You could boost this achievement with 2 controllers with LOCAL PLAY by going to MULTIPLAYER- FIGHT- LOCAL. Or if you only have 1 controller you can go to SINGLE PLAYER - FIGHT- PLAYER VS. CPU and fight a bot. When selecting your fighter press cn_Y and change settings to ULTIMATE (KYLE) DIFFICULTY and 60 sec. so you loss the match as fast as possible for it to count.

I would work towards all other character specific achievements such as survival matches played, exhibition, ranked matchs played, etc. before boosting any since a few characters will be done naturally.
