So what I did was I logged on every day and did one match just to get my rewards. Play one match of anything each day, and your login rewards will include gold on some days. Just doing this will slowly get you enough gold to buy 25 packs.

The easiest way to earn Astral Gems for the packs in Shadow Lord mode is to deploy on Godlike difficulty.

Not every mission can be deployed on. If the mission says "deploy unavailable" dont bother with it.

When grinding for astral gems i will check to see which missions can be deployed on, do those, and then skip to the next day.
