You will unlock cosmetics by leveling up. You may even have some if you pre-ordered or bought the Deluxe.
Once you have one unlocked, go to the Main Menu and select "Customize"
Select "Humans"
Select "Loadout 1"
Hit RB twice to go over to the Clothes Hanger Icon
Go to Outfit
Select Top or Pants and change to something you have unlocked by leveling and the achievement will unlock.
