In order to unlock this achievement, you must clear all of the Basic levels in Free Play with a silver, gold, or platinum medal. The basic levels are on the first page of Free Play on each of the activities.
You can track the progress of unlocking this achievement by looking underneath the icon for the level in the level selection screen at the high score. (If you haven't completed the level, there will obviously be nothing there.)
Completing the level in Adventures mode does not count, no matter how good the medal you earned was. You must go back to the Free Play mode from the main menu in order to make progress on this achievement.
As long as you are signed in, it doesn't matter who actually gets the medal -- as long as you "see them" (by being signed in while they are playing), it counts towards unlocking this achievement.

Are you sure it doesnt count in adventure mode? B/c I unlocked this achievement having still 1 activity left to do it showed up as me never having done it. The only thing I can think of is that I had done in already during adventure mode
