You get ten of the statues by completing adventures. I assume the 11th is initially available, but I didn't notice it until I got all the others and wondered why the achievement didn't pop.

From the main menu, pick Share, then Living Statues. Go as far left as you can go through the statues; the last one on the left should be "My First Steps", which just looks like the main player's avatar. Record this living statue and get the achievement, if you already have all the others.

You don't have to upload any of them to KinectShare.com for this to pop, but you do at least have to record something. If you unlock a living statue and don't record anything for it initially, you can do it without repeating the Adventure by going into the Living Statues menu as described above.

These are the ten Adventures that unlock statues:
Basic - Go For It, Dive In
Intermediate - The Mixer, Gems In The Mist, Ballroom Blitz, Road Trip
Advanced - Treasure Monster, Pedal To The Metal, River Shark Wrangle
The Ultimate Treasure

I have to agree with CDub. Although I wouldn't give you a neg for just omitting the level info, I think including the specific adventures where you get a living statue only makes sense when creating a guide for recording all the living statues, just as a reference (I have 9 right now including My First Steps and I checked this guide to see when/where I could expect to unlock the others). Calling it "a waste of your time" to include relevant info though in your solution is pretty pretentious for a solution-writer.

Great solution. I was wondering for a little bit why my achievement didn't pop up as I recorded all statues in adventures mode.

Complete each of the adventures listed below (except #1) and record.

List of Living Statues:

1. My First Steps: You start with this one. From main menu go to Show Off & Share>Living Statues and just record.
