DeosamoX no it's not cheating. The achievement is discontinued not impossible. They bitch because they have no life. Fact of the matter is you can mod games like Rayman raving rabbids to give you the correct score without modding the achievement.

There's a massive difference between delisted, discontinued, unobtainable to in game error, and unobtainable you can't unlock without modding the achievement itself. If the admin here are that petty its pathetic because they don't mind the WAW 1st and 10th prestige unlocking at the same time.

I don't see anything wrong with modding the game itself to fit the unobtainable parameters. Maybe we should get a forum going and see if Microsoft can open the site again and have it just immediately delete everything submitted to it so I takes zero space - after all it just needs a ping.

If anyone here is all about getting on social media (NOT here)... perhaps pressure Microsoft to patch various games to unlock achievements that required an online service that THEY no longer provide.

In this instance, have the achievement unlock when the required action is simply "attempted"!

For a game like "Motocross Madness", alter the "Absolutely Fabulous" achievement (which I did get, back when you could) to just require doing 3 (regular) weekly challenges, which you "can" still do!! BTW... for those of you who missed getting the "Trick Jam" DLC before it got pulled from the Xbox 360 store... the game IS backwards-compatible, and the "Trick Jam" DLC is available on Xbox One!!

Fable Anniversary is another game with an achievement you can't get, because of Microsoft. They could either patch the game and a current Xbox app to meet the requirement, or just patch the game to unlock it when you load it (which would be less work for THEM)!

It looks like 4 ppl from April 2024 to July 2024 have unlocked this offline. Their profiles look pretty normal & they haven't unlocked everything, so it looks like they are playing games legitimately. I wonder if you load the game offline if it unlocks?

I tried to do this today and saw that without any notice Microsoft closed down kinectshare from the 28th July 2017. This achievement is missable and I missed out by three days

Managed to get this just now. I already had a recorded statue though but the upload bit seemed to work fine.

I powered up the game for the first time since I got it, recorded a statue straight from the main menu, and uploaded it without issue. Achievement popped a second later. Don't know if it will stay there, but it is there for now, so jump on it while you can!

Unlocked this today and never played the game before

Unlocked just a few minutes ago. Surprised it still worked.

I tried it with a Dummy Account first. Uploading still works.

thanks for the tips on how to still get this... effing MS and their no-notice BS. Why shut these down at all? Is it really THAT hard to maintain a server for all these online-only achievements?

Oops. Mine kept saying Kinect sharing isn't allowed on my profile and to log into the Kinectshare website to change it which has been removed. I turned Kinectsharing on in my Xbox privacy settings to see if it worked and it did. false alarm? Still, get it quick in case they stop actual uploads and online game modes!

Sadly it now looks like it has been discontinued as the statues share no longer works

Can anyone confirm this still works? I see people got it two months after kinect share was shut down but don't see any since, just want to make sure before I star this

Hey Microsoft, is it really that hard to just pop the achievement when the player presses the upload button? Let's get this achievement working again even without the kinectshare.com web server.

Because kinect share is permanently abandoned, is it still possible to get this?

I haven't tested it, but those two GTs who "got it" this year are eerily similar...

ive been playing this game since 2013 and when i finally was able to turn my offline profile into an xbox live gold account, almost every game i knew had shut down. As hitman absolution, just dance 2018 and kinect adventures had online features, ill never try them...

I'll try to set up a DNS server for this Achievement to be obtainable by anyone. Will that count as cheating?

I sent a message to the investigations manager and he replied that "If you have to ask, then it's cheating".

Decided to try it out a couple days ago. The game did have an update from when I last played it, (July 2019) but it still did not fix the achievement.

How are people unlocking this recently?

Just got a X360 and was planning to play this game... Hoping this achievement get any kind of fix.

Some people have been asking me about the DNS. Tried anyway and apparently it checks directly with Xbox Live servers before trying to upload anything to the Kinectshare.com. That means that, at least I with my low skills I'm not able to do it but if you need some help on a project count on me.

And about all the offline unlocks are, of course, cheating. As this wasn't possible to unlock without logging into live (as far as I can tell).

Those who wonder recent unlocks, apparently when someone register TrueAchievements all achievements person have obtained get listed as won for that day.

Just to verify, there really is not a legitimate way to unlock this one discontinued achievement, correct?
