Kinect Disneyland Adventures

The baton magical item is required from Prince Naveen in New Orleans Square. You should level up if you cannot yet obtain it from him by doing other activities in the park. Keep playing the adventures and eventually it will be required anyway to progress those.

On the controller, you use / in horizontal or vertical directions, with the rhythm of the music. When the musical note is green, you are doing it correctly. Sometimes you need to press other buttons whilst doing this, so be alert. Five stars is required on all of them. Here are the four locations:

New Orleans Square: Jambalaya Jazz Band
This is not far from the fast travel entrance point of New Orleans Square, on the path near the water. If exiting the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, just walk straight ahead under the bridge and the band is on the right.

New Orleans Square: Royal Street Bachelors
The band is playing near Prince Naveen. From the fast travel entrance point of New Orleans Square, you should see Princess Tiana - just walk past her and turn left at the junction to see Naveen and this band.

New Orleans Square: Grim Grinning Ghosts
There are busts located near the Haunted Mansion attraction. Easiest way of locating them is to exit the attraction (use park map to fast travel)/go to its entrance (red marker). Now turn and face the entrance, follow the left path (queue of guests) and the busts will be in the small area at the end.

Adventureland: Enchanted Tiki Room
From the fast travel entrance of Adventureland, there is the Enchanted Tiki Room on the left side. Just walk back a bit (before the actual sign for Adventureland).

This one for me was most difficult. You really have to try and get every note to count and the rhythm is fast. You can actually keep moving both sticks even when it's asking for one side only. This will help you flow into the next dual notes. Try and get perfect/super on the button presses too. I got 5 stars with 13700 points.

To get this achievement, you must get five stars on each of the conducting mini-games in the park.

Before you can engage in any of the conducting mini-games, you must receive the baton magical item from Prince Naveen in New Orleans Square. I obtained this item after I had reached level 4 and helped Princess Tiana with a few quests, although I am not sure what level or quest requirements are required to make him appear.

The four conducting mini-games that are needed are the following:
Jambalaya Jazz Band - New Orleans Square
(Near center of New Oreleans Square to left of Tiana)

Royal Street Bachelors - New Orleans Square
(Near center of New Orleans Square to right of Tiana)

Grim Grinning Ghosts - New Orleans Square
(Statue busts within Haunted Mansion gates)

Tiki Room - Adventure Land
(Tiki Room located behind Aladdin)


Simply swing your arms to the beat in order to keep the notes green and earn points. If a countdown timer appears on screen, tap forward with that hand once the timer reaches 1 for additional coins. You can replay any minigame as much as needed until you obtain a 5-star rating.

OK you need to get the baton in order to conduct the 4 bands. You can get the baton from Naveen in New Orleans square. You must be level 4 or so in order for him to give you the baton.
Then you must locate the 4 bands:

Jambalaya Jazz Band
New Orleans Square

Royal Street Bachelors
New Orleans Square

Grim Grinning Ghosts
New Orleans Square

Tiki Room
Adventure Land Right by the entrance

You interact with the bands just like any other character or attraction by either waving or just say " Hi There"

The last 3 of these are pretty easy. Just swing your arms in time with the band. If the notes are low, swing your arms low. If they are high, swing your arms high.

The Jambalaya Jazz Band is the hard one. It doesn't seem to register the vertical notes and that's what you get the most points for.
I figured out how to do this just about every time.
I really struggled with this, probably doing this and failing like 50 times. Then the few times I was doing correctly I watched my character. He basically had his arms down and his forearms straight out and just going straight up and down. Do NOT swing your arms. They must go straight up and down. Once I did it this way I got green the whole time instead of it being red most of the time.
Before doing it this way I could barely get 10,000. The first time I tried this I got over 12,000 and got 5 stars.
This works on all the places with the vertical notes like the ghosts.

Try it and see if it works for you. It worked great for me.
