How to unlock the Pirate's Life for Me achievement in Kinect Disneyland Adventures - Definitive Guide
The achievement description has changed recently. It previously read "Win the swordfights in Peter Pan's Flight and Pirates of the Caribbean without being hit."
You need to complete two specific chapters (Swordfight with Hook on Peter Pan's Flight, Pirate Ship on Pirates of the Caribbean) without getting hit by cannons, pirates, Captain Hook and Blackbeard. This solution is for the Xbox One controller. I would imagine using Kinect will pose a greater challenge. I didn't do this in one sitting but it is recommended if you do Pirate Ship first (this chapter doesn't have a secret for doing it flawlessly, so may not log this progress after quitting; apparently one sitting was required on Xbox 360).
You can attack by using in different directions and . There are prompts to either jump with or duck by holding . Not doing the correct action will result in a hit. I gave it a little bit of a delay before jumping as sometimes I got hit. Ducking can be done as soon as you see the prompt for it (holding the button down).
Peter Pan's Flight: Swordfight with Hook
Note: If you already have the secret, it means you have done this chapter without getting hit. You can move on to the other chapter. I had done this in another session and the achievement for the next chapter unlocked fine. However, if it hasn't unlocked by then, some of you say it unlocks after replaying this chapter, even though the secret was recorded.
This is chapter 4 on the Peter Pan's Flight attraction. You need fight Captain Hook for a few rounds without getting hit. If you don't have the only secret by the end, then you got hit.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Pirate Ship
This is chapter 3 on the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Similar to Swordfight with Hook but a little more difficult as you have many pirates to get through before fighting Blackbeard. I found slightly delaying my jumps more significant on this chapter. Ducking will need to be done more on the mast section with the cannons coming at you. The secret on this chapter is for defeating 12 pirates.

Not sure why, but I unlocked the achievement after definitely taking some hits, even hits by Blackbeard himself. I was focusing on killing the 12 pirates (which I succeeded in doing), and so I didn't worry too much about dodging. I took at least one hit from a pirate, one cannonball, and even missed one of the vertical swings Blackbeard does that requires you to jump (if you succeed it sticks in the floor). Popped immediately after the ending cutscene started. This was my second run-through of this level (the first run I got hit as well). I had previously passed the Peter Pan level without taking any hits. Maybe there's a glitch with the trigger to where if you collect the secret in the level while already having the secret from the Pan level it unlocks? Maybe the vertical swing doesn't count since even if you miss the prompt he technically doesn't make contact with you? Also it's quite possible that since they changed the description, they also changed the requirements so all you have to do is complete the fight.

If you for some reason don't get this to unlock try the Hook fight again even if you have the secret. That's what I had to do to get it to unlock.

This achievement is both easier than it appears and yet harder. The description fails to mention that you must do both fights flawless. On top of that, on the pirates level you must also fight every pirate leading to the black beard fight flawless.
You can do both in the fast pass menu. Your total score won't make a difference, but keep an occasional look at it as you go. If your score ends in 50, you were hit and need to start over.
Everytime you are about to be hit, the words duck or jump will appear, as long as you don't panic you'll do fine.
The specific levels you must do this on are the final peter pan level and the 3rd pirates level.
Don't be discouraged as this took me about 3 hours straight to get done correctly.

It is listed in there "The specific levels you must do this on are the final peter pan level and the 3rd pirates level. " but if you are looking for the "number" or "specific chapter"
~ Peter Pan's Flight ~
Chapter 4: Sword fight with Hook
~ Pirates of the Caribbean ~
Chapter 3. Pirate Ship

"Also, a tip for those having trouble with the jumps. Apparently, if you try jumping like a normal person (bend legs, then spring up), the game may register your knee bends as a duck, and cause you to miss the jump. I had this issue constantly until I trained myself to jump while keeping my body perfectly straight. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable, but did the trick. Might have just been a sensor issue, but still."
Thanks for the specifics and other suggestions. I hope this helps.
As many have attested, you must get this in one sitting. I had before on my first "real" try for it so I didn't think about that being a factor. Thanks to those that have giving this tip

If you just look at where the words 'DUCK' and 'JUMP' are, it makes this achievement really easy.

Is this where you fight Hook? Can you put the chapter number in your guide?

This achievement description was changed recently which you shouldn't take damage in swordfight with hook and pirate ship.
Tip: You can attack with the left stick in different directions and the X. button. There are prompts to either jump with the A or duck by holding B buttons. Incorrect actions will result in a hit.

This achievement can get annoying. Each one of these games has one chapter in which you are on pirate ships swordfighting, where you need to avoid getting hit by the enemy piratess while fighting them. Try not to look at the pirate and focus on the bottom of the screen where it will tell you to either jump or duck. Once you complete both of them without getting hit the achievement should unlock.
