How to unlock the Pixar Perfect achievement in Kinect Disneyland Adventures - Definitive Guide

Here where and how to get all of the hidden Mickeys needed for the Platinum badges in both rides. I tried to be as descriptive as I could.

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
-Chapter 1: Planet Surface
1. Near the beginning on the left side. Easy to spot and grab
2. 1st 6 arm robot. Buzz will tell you to shoot off the arms. Doing will get the 2nd hidden Mickey
3. When you see the 2nd 6 arm robot go left and you'll easily spot this one
4. This is towards the end of the level. Easy to spot and grab.

Chapter 2: Tunnels
1. Very early in the level you have a wall of spike come from behind then a wall of spikes in front of you. Shoot out all spike on both walls of spike to get the 1st hidden Mickey
2. When you get to the room with your alien friends in cages your have to shoot things at the bottom of the room. Seems to appear once I've hit all of the green and red pillar- like things at the bottom.

Chapter 3: Zurg Chamber Battle
1. In the tunnel at the very start in the lower left before the cut scene with Zurg.

Chapter 4: Escape
1. At the beginning when Zurg enters a tunnel, it's on the bottom of the entrance into the tunnel.
2. Shortly after the 1st Mickey the 2nd one will be in the same tunnel on the right side.
3. It's in the asteroid field on the right side

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
-Chapter 1: Coral Reef
1. At the very beginning press cn_X to wave at the characters
2. During 3rd hide & seek location, it'll appear in the upper right
3. Complete the whole level without being spotted during 6 hide and seek spots. You can tell when you're hidden because there will be a blue aura around you. Otherwise you'll be spot
A. There's 2 Coral reefs on the bottom and a column of weeds on the upper left. The weeds are easiest
B. A Coral on the left, 2 floating objects, and weeds on the left. Again weeds are easiest.
C. There's 2 schools of fish that swim back and forth. They'll both stop just before Nemo stops counting. Hide behind one of them.
D. Another school of fish, floating object on the right, or weeds on the left. Weeds again are easiest.
E. School of fish and a pillar with flags.
F. Coral reef at the bottom or the floating object.

Chapter 2: Bruce and the Sunken Ships
1. Right after the 1st appearance of Bruce the shark. It'll be easy to spot and grab
2. Right after Bruce's 2nd appearance take a right at the fork. It'll be on the right side
3. After the short cutscene you'll go underneath and through the bottom of the ship. There will be 2 paths. Take the left path and you'll spot it immediately
4. Towards the end you will swim up a staircase and through some railings. It'll be on the lower right immediately after the railings. You will need to hit cn_B to duck when grabbing it, otherwise it's next to impossible to grab

Chapter 3: East Australian Current
1. After the 1st appearance of jellyfish there is a tunnel with 2 paths. Take the right path and it's easy to spot and grab in this path
2. After the 2nd appearance of jellyfish you'll swim in between some vertical planks of wood. Quickly after that you need to take the left path. It'll be on the right side of this path
3. Shortly after that the last one is easy to spot and grab

Same happened to me, 5 stars and 10 Mickeys but only 2 pins. I wonder if it was because I grabbed some hidden Mickeys and quit out of the level? The Mickeys showed as collected, but the gold and platinum badges weren't earned. I played through the whole series again and then the gold and platinum were lit up, but they were never "presented" to me. Must have been good enough, I got the achievement when I finished Nemo.

Just FYI, there's a bug in the Windows 10 version of the game making it impossible to get the third secret for Chapter 1 of the Nemo attraction. Basically hiding behind the school of fish, which is required in the 3rd hiding spot doesn't work on PC but works fine on Xbox One.

I got all the hidden mickeys for the buzz light year ride but I only have two pins, do I have to have a higher score to get platinum?

I am having difficulty taking the left path. No mater how much I trie to go left, and I can see the mikey, I can not get it to go that way. Any suggestions? This can be disregarded. I got it today. What I did was keep my analog stick pushed to the left after the "here's Brucey cut scene" and it finally took the left course when I got there.

Ok so I can confirm that if you have everything replay each level get 5 stars each and destroy everything it should pop.

Bit of a late comment.
But I can’t get the 4th Mickey on the Brucie level.
You have to wait till after the objects to move that way, but I can’t get there quick enough..

@Drazer76 I was having the same problem but I figured it out. Whenever you're going to the bottom left, use the B button to "duck" which will push your character down a bit lower than normal. I couldn't get it without doing this.

Thank you for this! I was missing the second one on the first chapter of Buzz; the on site walkthrough says you have to wave at the robot 🤦‍♂️

Not patient enough to go for platinum or even gold, but my game shows I have silver/bronze on all attractions, but neither have popped. Not sure what to do.

Thanks for this! I don't know how many times I ran this thing before this advice did the trick. The game gives absolutely no feedback when you shoot these things.

I got all the Mickey's in both levels and neither was platinum, so I hit Y to replay the entire level from start to finish, and it gave my platinum for Nemo. However, I did it several times for the Buzz Lightyear level and it was still only 2 pins. Finally it popped in the middle of chapter 2 when I figured out how to duck under the lazer beams at the end of the shooter part. It unlocked before getting to the Zerg battle. Happy to have it finished.

Follow the guides for Portal Master and There's Gold in Them There Hills for the most part. But...

I personally had trouble finding the last secret mickey on the Nemo level "Coral Reef". Turns out you have to hide in certain ways to get this last mickey. I'll list them below.

NOTE: The way you know that you're successfully hidden is that a blue ink swell will float around you like a mist. This is very helpful.

1. Hide in the upper right algae. It's easy if you go there and just keep flapping your arms to stay up there.

2. Hide behind the coral shaped like a person on the left. I went behind it and put my arms straight out until I saw the blue mist around me.

3. Hide in the lower group of moving fish. When they stop moving just go there, put your arms out, and crouch a little until you see the mist around you.

4. Hide in the upper left algae. Much like the first one.

5. There's a pillar with a flag on top. The flags point up and down. Stand behind this flag and put your arms out with one up and one down to match the flag but watch out because while the fish is counting down, the flags will switch positions so make sure you switch your arms to match. Just make sure the blue ink mist is around you and you'll be fine.

6. Hide behind the coral guy at the bottom.

That got me the last mickey and I was able to get my gold and platinum for the Nemo attractions. Hope this helps you!

Thanks.
Am I the only one having trouble hiding behind the fish? I can be barely touching the coral man in spot 2 but can rarely get the mist when fully behind either school of fish. To make matters worse, Nemo seems able to see me anyway when I do manage to get the blue mist! What am I doing wrong?

I seem to remember having this trouble also but not sure what I did. I think if you put your arms out it helps stay still. Bend the legs a little too. Try to do a small crouch. I think once you get the hang of it, you'll see. Standing a certain way makes you be really still and the mist will then appear.

Thanks for you help STARWARZ, I finally got this secret. However, because it doesn't seem to read me correctly at the bottom of the screen, I did hiding spots 3 and 6 differently. Here's what worked for me:
@ spot 3 I lined myself roughly centered with the hole in the rock (to the right of Nemo with a coin by it in the distance). When the upper fish stop, you'll be lined up on their left "arm". Do the 90 degree robot arm to match and you should get this spot.. I wasn't able to get it with 100% consistancy, but you only need it to work once.
@ spot 6 I simply stayed in the center, going up and down with the bouy(?) just enough to stay hidden.

Personally had trouble with the Buzz Lightyear platinum. I found all the secrets but Chapter 3 was kicking my tail. Finally realized I was beating the level too fast. It's worth the extra time to blast the ring of cannons a couple times, ensure you blast all the flying enemies, and then while battling Zurg, shooting his projectiles out of the air. A five-star score is around 14K.

I can get all the rest almost every time, but for some reason I cannot get #5.
3 is hard sometimes, but manageable.
Either I never get the blue mist behind that statue or that floating thing knocks me out when he's counting down towards 3 or 2. Then I can never reposition myself.
I think I only managed it once and I missed #3 that time.
Oh and I have all the secrets on Buzz Lightyear and 5 stars on all, but it still says I only have silver. In case anyone doesn't know, this is a glitch and I have to get 5 stars on at least 1 again. No idea which though so I'll do it til I get it again. All 5 stars blink at the beginning, so that's how I know I have gotten all the scores.
More trying to get Nemo now.

Hi, I'm only missing 1 Mickey on astroblasters ch.1 the 1 by the 2nd robot. I know of three possible solutions to get it. I was wondering if anyone has any input on this 1. No one 's responded in the portal master forum. Thanks for any input

HELP!?
I have 5 Stars on all Chapters (showing 5 Total too) and also have all the hidden Mickeys, but for some reason, I only have Bronze & Silver Badges!
How do I get Gold & Platinum? Is there a bug/glitch?
TIA

I don't think this is accurate. In my experience, the Nemo 3rd secret unlocked simply by successfully hiding in every round. If you see the blue mist the whole time while hiding and get a coin bonus at the end of each round, you'll get it. If Nemo says he found you at any point or you don't get the coin bonus at the end of any round, you won't get the secret. It doesn't matter how you hide, as long as Nemo doesn't catch you.

@Roadwarrior142: look very closely at your stars. It is probably not a bug, just bad interface.

Unfortunately if you score 4.95 stars on a chapter, the menu fill 4.95 stars. This is nearly indistinguishable from 5 stars, visually. I scored 4.99 stars on a few levels, and I was able to tell that a couple pixels were missing if I got really close to my television. Depending on how close to 5 stars you got, you may not be able to tell at all. Unfortunately, there is no way to know which chapter you got 4.999 stars on unless you have manually kept track. My recommendation would be to play all the chapters again, get 5 stars, and make sure each star pulses and makes a popping sound during the level and when you return to the menu. If I had to guess, this is probably the problem you are encountering.
