How to unlock the What a Swell Pal achievement in Kinect Disneyland Adventures - Definitive Guide

Have a second player join by either waving (Kinect) or 2nd controller ( cn_back then
cn_A when popup appers in top left of screen)
Then go to a attraction and complete a chapter (2nd controller can be left AFK(Not sure if 2nd Kinect person can AFK))
It will pop when its awarding the stars.

Do you happen to know if 2nd player can be a "guest" or if it has to actually be another account logged in?

@Courtjester138 yes it can be just a "guest". simply press A with a second controller and a second player will appear without needing to sign in

I have second controller connected and press every button, but nothing happens.

Update: You can not play Co-Op from Cloud Gaming.

I suggest the fireworks as a quick and easy attraction to do with a dummy controller.

I’m trying to do this but when I download this from Gamepass and then try and play the game always crashes! Then if I uninstall and then do cloud gaming it works. Any ideas? I’d really like to get these two that require another controller.

When you do a chapter game have a second person wave at the kinect to activate them in the game and after the challenge is done the achievement should pop up.

should note that they can join mid action in the chapter and it will still pop up. they don't even have to do anything. My wife was on the couch watching and I was doing the Matterhorn bobsled throwing snowball and it joined her in halfway though and when I got to the end the achievement poped,

First you need to get a second person, then play any attraction and complete the first chapter. The achievement will unlock after you complete the first chapter.
