Hi everyone this is my first guide so I hope it helps!
There are three car episodes! Lightning McQueen must be unlocked separately in all three episodes! To unlock him you need yo find 4 hidden gold rings with McQueen in the middle of them! This is much easier to do once you have completed all three episodes completely and have unlocked all abilities!
Most of these hidden rings are behind rocks and caves that you need to shoot with your misiles! This is done by taking your time through the levels and is much easier in single player!

Hi, Gonna try it out and will come back to you, since I haven´t been able to unlock any playable characters (didn´t know about the hidden coins).
