This was the hardest achievement in the game for me, until I figured out what to do. On the Cars mission Bomb Squad, play to the last glide (last coin you collect) and jump off the ramp and glide to the coin, as soon as you pick up the coin, jump again and glide to the road, it slants down and goes towards a bridge tunnel, as soon as you hit the road jump and glide again. If you are quick enough all 3 mini glides will add up. You don't need to do it all in one giant glide like I was initially, you can do several quick glides, chain them.

When does this unlock? As soon as you do it or after the mission has ended?

How am I supposed to get enough speed to glide that far? I lose too much speed from the long turn before hand. I am able to just jump around after landing to get the number in the corner up to 100, but that doesn't work.
