Start up the game, sign in and all that good stuff. Then once you reach the "Island" (or as it's commonly known "Menu"), swirl over to "My Game". Choose "Friends List" and then "Friends List" again. Hopefully someone there will have a character rather than a black square. Pick someone, despite having no indication if they are online or not, then choose "Invite to Game". You then have to wait for that person to accept your game invite. Once they join your game, choose one of the Tennis Events that has a 2-Player icon, and win.

The Aces High achievement in Kinect Sports Rivals worth 63 pointsHit 4 consecutive aces in a single Tennis event.
The Comeback Kid achievement in Kinect Sports Rivals worth 101 pointsCome back from 40-love down to win a Tennis event.
For Aces just have the one player stand still whenever the ball is served to them.
For the Comeback, you must let the other player reach 40 points without scoring any yourself, and then come back from 0 to win the game.
