How to unlock the Home Runs for Fun achievement in Kinect Sports Season Two - Definitive Guide
I had no luck trying to swing up or trying to time it perfectly. I would get maybe one homerun but after that nothing. I actually found success in an odd way. The only way I could knock several in a row over the wall was to swing in a weird way. Once you ready up so that the pitcher is able to throw you have to hold your bat out so you can see it on the screen. Then when the ball is getting close pull back and swing forward. When you get the timing right it's always a homerun. I can't explain it but it works. Hope this helps someone out there, it sure would have saved me time if I had started out like this.
The hardest part of it though was simply getting the bat to move back and then forward the way you want. Seems to be the way of the game that you end up fighting the kinect most of the time.

I've managed to do this against the AI, but you might have a better chance doing this with a friend. You want to try and get the timing right on the swings and swing fast and up to try and get them out of the park.
If your partner doesn't catch any of the fly balls and you run out all of the ground balls you should be able to get multiple home runs each inning before getting three outs.
Also another note. If you switch batters the batter with the gold bat will almost surely get a home run. So if you find yourself with 4 home runs and 2 outs in the last inning, try switching batters to get that last home run.

I struggled a little bit right handed. Went other side to swing to the right got some home runs easier. Maybe because I've got wardrobes in the way.

To hit a power hit, keep one foot forward prior to the pitch, and swing hard in the direction of the indicator. Use your pinch hitter as well, as they are your guaranteed power hitter.
