How to unlock the Long Bomb achievement in Kinect Sports Season Two - Definitive Guide
*Must be 60-62 yard away (can be a pain in the ass just setting yourself up there)
*Use the play All Streaks
*Throw to the far right receiver.
*The defensive lineman can't immediately break through the line, which it does every couple plays. There must be enough time for your receiver to get down the field.
*Once the ball is caught by the receiver (approx 30 yards down field), the corner back must miss the tackle from behind you. After that tackle is missed, the safety will come at you and you must avoid his tackle too. (There is no special way to avoid a tackle, you must run hard, keep good form and pray they miss the tackle)
*After all that, a random defensive player will come out of no where and try and tackle you. If you are not running hard he will get you down before the end zone.
*Get those knees up and pump those arms fast, you must go at top speed!
The stars must align for this achievo to pop. Good luck! Any more questions please PM me.
Step 1 - Run at full speed dodging the first tackler and then get sacked by the second.
Step 2 - Go to the playbook, select Short Pass and while in play throw it to any available teammate. If they aren't available retry this step again.
Step 3 - If you are 61-64 yards away, select All Streaks from the playbook. If not, select Medium Pass to gain some distance.
Step 4 - Throw the ball to your teammate on the far right hand side when he passes the defender (right before you get sacked).
Step 5 - Once you receive the ball run at full speed. The first tackler will come from behind, once he misses run at half speed and then juke to the right dodging the second tackler. When you pass him run at full speed towards the end zone before the third tackler takes you down.
Good luck!
This can be quite hard, and for some may depend on a little bit of luck to get the ideal situation. For starters, you want to be as close as you can to your own 40 yard line as possible, whether it be on the kick return or completing some short passes to move ahead, or even getting sacked to move back 5-10 yards. You’re more than likely going to want to use either of the long passes then for your 60+ yard pass.
Hike the ball, and keep and eye on your receivers. Allow them to get open, then wait a bit to let them travel down field. Throw a strong pass so they get it on the run. Once you catch it, you’re in control of the receiver now. There’s a guy or two that you need to juke, and every time there’s a guy from behind that will always catch you. The final guy from behind will always tackle you. There's no way of avoiding it. Before trying to juke the last one, you may find that you can’t, so you may as well try to out run them instead. Hopefully they don’t catch up to you until the 2 yard line or so and drag you in for a touchdown. So, juke the first one or two people, then out run the last. Everything really needs to come together for this one.
