This mini game is pretty straight forward - stop the ball from going into the net. Any contact with any part of your body is sufficient - from a fingertip to the side of your leg. This might take a few tries - but here are some tips that helped me:

- Only use one arm at a time to save shots (I know no real keeper would ever do this, but this isn't real football!)
- Keep you arms at your sides, bent at the elbow so as to be at a 90 degree angle to your body, that will allow you to quickly raise or lower then them to save the high/low shots. It also doesn't take much energy to keep your arms in this position.
- Balls coming directly at you need no action, just being in front of them is enough. These are good times to conserve energy.
- Remember to step slightly to the right/left for the shots going wider than your arm length, then quickly reset yourself to the middle to prepare for the next shot.

I really like expending all that energy, then ending up with 97 or 98. Makes me want to throw this stupid thing into the street

Sorry to hear man - this is a tougher one. Maybe you can have someone hit the guide button so you can take a break part way through?

I was also struggling to get this one, I could get to around 90 each time but kept missing the really low ones that were far left or far right. The high ones were also tricky at the end as they come so fast.

What I found, to make the whole thing much easier was that you can drop to your knees to do the whole thing. The game thinks you are really short and doesn't put any balls higher than you can reach but the biggest bonus is you don't need to bend down to reach the low balls. I got the achievement first time using this technique. Hope it helps!

Rumour has it that you are only actually 3 ft tall anyway. I'll try this later, bending is not one of my specialist skills and this sounds like an excellent alternative.

First things first every guide above was extremely helpful so thumbs up to everyone (BigLer, Beanpotter, JORAX) .

SURE FIRE METHOD:
1) THE BEST/OBVIOUS TIP: Use the guide button to stop the game so you can see where the ball is going and move to that position. I got it first try no problem.

2) Get on your knees (game registers you as a shorter player so won't put the balls so far out of your reach)

3)Try to stay centered, make quick movements and recover

For this achievement you need to save 100 shots. The speed and placement of the shots get faster and harder to reach the closer you get to 100. After about an hour of trying and getting to 97,98 saves i found that keeping both your arms fully extended helps more than bending your elbow particularly from 50 - 60 saves onwards. Kinect recognizes that your elbow is slightly bent (as a normal goalkeeper would do) so if you make your arm fully straight you have a better chance of reaching the difficult corner shots.

Hope it helps.

All you need is just to use the technique as described in
Kinect SportsLotus Park ChampionThe Lotus Park Champion achievement in Kinect Sports worth 31 pointsWin a match in Football (Champion difficulty)

solution by litepink:
Use your controller and hit the "Y" button as soon as the goal point is shown ("pausing" the game) then having moved hole your body there press "B" button and get the goalkeeper save scored. Repeat 100 times wink. Get chievo.

The technique that I used was that I accepted that some of the far out ones I wasn't going to get. I took a small step to the left and let the far out right ones go but didnt have to really reach for the far left ones. I reached 101 using this tactic on the 2nd try. Just a small step though. You don't want to leave the other side too exposed.

This mini-game is exactly as the name suggests. It will require you to be in goal and block shots. Like with some of the other mini-games, it is life-based, so you have a few chances to mess up; it doesn’t have to be perfect. Like with all other Kinect football matches, a ball prompt will appear to let you know where the striker will be shooting, and you must use your body to cover the shot. A good stance to adopt is like an actual goalkeeper; legs slightly apart, arms bent at a 90° angle to the side. This should leave you with minimum movements needing to be made, simply a few small side to side movements and a lot of up and down movements with your arms. Try to avoid using your feet, as tempting as it might be, as it can throw you off balance a little. Be warned, the further you advance, the faster the striker will shoot, however if you save lots of shots in a row, you will be rewarded with an extra life, so you should easily have enough for a score of 100+.
