How to unlock the Golden Gloves achievement in Kinect Sports - Definitive Guide
- Only use one arm at a time to save shots (I know no real keeper would ever do this, but this isn't real football!)
- Keep you arms at your sides, bent at the elbow so as to be at a 90 degree angle to your body, that will allow you to quickly raise or lower then them to save the high/low shots. It also doesn't take much energy to keep your arms in this position.
- Balls coming directly at you need no action, just being in front of them is enough. These are good times to conserve energy.
- Remember to step slightly to the right/left for the shots going wider than your arm length, then quickly reset yourself to the middle to prepare for the next shot.
What I found, to make the whole thing much easier was that you can drop to your knees to do the whole thing. The game thinks you are really short and doesn't put any balls higher than you can reach but the biggest bonus is you don't need to bend down to reach the low balls. I got the achievement first time using this technique. Hope it helps!
Cheers! ;)
SURE FIRE METHOD:
1) THE BEST/OBVIOUS TIP: Use the guide button to stop the game so you can see where the ball is going and move to that position. I got it first try no problem.
2) Get on your knees (game registers you as a shorter player so won't put the balls so far out of your reach)
3)Try to stay centered, make quick movements and recover
Hope it helps.
solution by litepink:
Use your controller and hit the "Y" button as soon as the goal point is shown ("pausing" the game) then having moved hole your body there press "B" button and get the goalkeeper save scored. Repeat 100 times . Get chievo.

This mini-game is exactly as the name suggests. It will require you to be in goal and block shots. Like with some of the other mini-games, it is life-based, so you have a few chances to mess up; it doesn’t have to be perfect. Like with all other Kinect football matches, a ball prompt will appear to let you know where the striker will be shooting, and you must use your body to cover the shot. A good stance to adopt is like an actual goalkeeper; legs slightly apart, arms bent at a 90° angle to the side. This should leave you with minimum movements needing to be made, simply a few small side to side movements and a lot of up and down movements with your arms. Try to avoid using your feet, as tempting as it might be, as it can throw you off balance a little. Be warned, the further you advance, the faster the striker will shoot, however if you save lots of shots in a row, you will be rewarded with an extra life, so you should easily have enough for a score of 100+.
