How to unlock the To the Left, to the Right achievement in Kinect Sports - Definitive Guide
Select "Table Tennis" from Main Event menu and choose to play against a computer opponent. Select "Beginner" difficulty for the computer opponent to make this easy.
After the match starts, stretch out either arm to select left-handed or right-handed. I played the first match with my weak hand first to get that over with. Take your time and swing a little early (to account for slight Kinect delay). If you have played table tennis for real, the Kinect sensor can detect if you put top-spin or back-spin on the ball (evident by the yellow or blue trails around the ball, respectively). And don't forget to move around your play space because you can come up short on hitting the ball if you are not in the right position!! Play to 11 points to win.
After completing this match, repeat with the same settings and simply choose the opposite hand you selected the first time. Easy points!
[Update courtesy of JaggyTT] This achievement does not have to be earned in one sitting, or consecutively. You can play the matches at separate times, and whenever you win the match with your "opposite" hand, the achievement should unlock.l

Really?? So....why don't you tell me why there is a negative vote on this?? I believe this solution describes everything it takes to win the achievement per the TA guidelines. Weak sauce...

I`ll also add it don`t have to be done in 1 sitting,, If ya arms are dead ( like mine were from the windmill bowling thing lol ) from the other games then you can come back and use the other hand later :)

There are a number of ways you can achieve this. The game simply requires you to win 2 games, one with your left hand and one with your right hand. This can either be done against a computer on any difficulty or against a friend locally or online.
- You can either attempt to do it yourself, against a computer on a low difficulty if you are confident using both hands.
- You could have a friend let you win if you know that you can’t use one hand as well as the other.
- You could beat your opponent with your preferred hand, then have a friend step in and play the second match using the hand that you’re not so good with.
No matter how you choose to win, simply win 2 games, one using each hand, and the achievement should unlock.
