How to unlock the Don't Get Cocky achievement in Kinect Star Wars - Definitive Guide
To get this achievement you have to compete the 4 space combat battles during the Jedi Destinycampaign they are Kashyyyk 9, Providence 1 and Felucia 5 and 6 without dying or restaring you can restart from the ause menu without affecting the achievement unlocking.
The first three of them are not hard at all and can be earned with alittle practice and perseverence General Tips are take out turrets as soon as they are visible they are much more likely to kill you then ships. When enemy ships fires missile or mines there is no need to be concened they move so slowly that you can easily pick them off well before they are near your craft and often if you hit one you will hit all four.
On Felucia Six things are sightly harder, but i you stick to the tips from previous missions you shoudnt have a roblem there are alot of turrets but they are usually all packed otgether to make it easier for you. That said there are two parts where I failed:
Firstly near the misddle of the level one of your ships is blow up in a small cut scene shorty after that a female pilot will point out that there are '5 no 6 ships incoming' as soon as she says that push both hands to fire your missiles that should take out a good number of enimies, then as soon as your missiles are recharged fire immediatley to destroy the second wave. Then be ready to fire on the bottom of the large ship in front of you as it has turrets You will then enter the core of the ship.
It is fairy straight foward tot he core you have to dodge a few obstacles and closing doors but the game points out where they are until you get into the core and blow it up. Then the escape begins now the sequence is short 0 seconds maximum the most important thing to rememer is that you will not die from hitting the walls only from hitting the obstales in front of you alos the ship s really quick to react to your changes so you can chuck it around a little bit and as mentioned above you wil not die if you hit the wall only the doors and pipes infront of you. To start with I was moving all delicatley then I realised you could not die by hitting the wall and started really chucking it around and suceeded first time.
These do not have to be in one go have alittle break if you strugge with Feucia 6 but you won't it is easy.
Hope this heps if you vote negative please say why so I can improve the guide.

My biggest problem with the final escape was moving right and left too soon. I thought I had passed the barrier, so would move in anticipation of the next, only to slam into the previous barrier. After waiting a little longer, I was fine after a few more practice runs.

The hit detection during the escape scene is ridiculous, you rally have to wait a half second after you think you have passed the pipes to move or you will die.

These can be done in any order and DO NOT have to be done in 1 sitting
You just have to have done all 4 of them without dying at some point.
This popped for me at the end of my second play of providence 1.

The achievement tells you to do it without restarting. I see that as missleading information. I restarted a few times on the fourth mission because I kept dying. By restarting I mean putting your left arm at a 45 degree angle, then putting your hand over the restart option, then selecting yes. I did that and still earned the achievement. Now for some tips.
1. Play the courses and try to figure out the perfect time to use bombs.
2. Get rid of the turrents before anything else, unless there are ships firing at you.
3. On the fourth mission, after you destroy that big purple (or blue) thing and are trying to excape the explosion, try to think mostly on something else. I tried twice by being 100% focused on the game and failed both times because I started shaking and my heart started pounding. The third time was a charm because I was thinking about when I went for my morning jog. Do not get 100% focused on something else or it might not work. Some of you people might think this is stupid but when people have minor heart problems (like me) this realy helps.
Good luck.

So you re saying that dying doesnt matter as long as you pause the game and restart? That would be awesome.guess I ll have to try this out sometime.too bad this game is pretty bad.but thx for your solution.
