You need 75 stars to unlock the deathstar.
You need to at least 4 star a song to unlock the advanced difficulty on that song and theres 11 songs before getting to the deathstar, so doing that gives you a minimum of 44 stars, then you just need to get at least 3 stars on those 11 songs on advanced to reach the 75 required.
But by the time you've done that many songs you'll probably be used to the moves enough to 4 or 5 star most songs, and will unlock it much earlier!

Is there a way to check how many stars you have receieved for a specific song? All I see is the star total. When I am choosing songs I don't see how many stars I have received on the song.
