You can do this in the first area of the DLC.
I managed to do it after completing the juggling achievement:
The Don’t Drop Me Now achievement in Kinectimals worth 81 pointsComplete the juggling contest in Suva Cave without dropping a ball.
To do this, you have to go into "Bear Toys" in your Toy Box, and select "Climbing Hat". Guide your bear to the top of the tree by making climbing movements above your head, and leaning to the side when there's a branch blocking your way, and the achievement will pop.
