How to unlock the Gold Standard achievement in Kinectimals - Definitive Guide
For EVERYONE with the Kinectimals Now with Bears! game disc:
For whatever reason, this disc causes a glitch that you will not receive the all gold medals achievement after you get your last medal!
I got the gold medal achievement to pop in Kinectimals!
Find an original copy of the game (without DLC on disc) and replay the last minigame (or any minigame thanks to MathGuy42) and it should unlock as it was originally intended to!
Best of luck, and hope it helps anyone who was unable to unlock the achievement!

I had a problem with loading the save game from the with bears disc in the normal version. But that was because i played the game offline. So just a tip if you play this game offline. Get title update #3 (+- 48MB) and install it to your console. Otherwise it will give an error when loading the save game.
This ofcourse is no problem for anyone playing this game on an online profile. Since you will get the title update automaticly that way.

It seems you can replay any minigame. I replayed Piggie Skittles (Woodland Glade) and got the achievement. I did not test if Gold is required on the replay. Of course if you do need Gold, there are plenty of easy choices.

Of course the achievement is getting a gold in every contest on every island, but it seems that a lot of people are having problems with the "Flower Power" bubble popping contest in Cherry Blossom. Here is what i did.
Gold: 40k
For all rounds I kept my left had either behind my back or in my pocket. Sometimes it would pick up my left hand and throw a ball, ruining my multiplier.
Round 1: 3 Totems
Use a slow constant motion "releasing" the ball when your arm is almost fully straight. Aim in the general direction, and try to get the bubbles on the way up or at their peak. Its quite hard to hit them on their way down. You don't have to be perfect, but it helps a lot.
Goal : 9k+ ( i got 9.9k missed one early).
Round 2: 6 Totems(Not sure if its exactly six, but there are more).
Switch it up and use and overhead throw, I kept my arm up and just cocked my wrist back and forth imitating a throw, and "threw" the ball in the direction of the bubble. I missed a few bubbles throughout, but the multiplier kept going up as long as I kept hitting bubbles.
Goal: 16k+ ( I got 17k).
Round 3: A Lot of Totems
Switch back to the underhand motion, but instead of a slow constant motion, use a really fast motion and "release" the ball early in your throw. You will still need to aim in the general direction of the bubbles, but just keep the balls coming. You'll keep your multiplier growing if you keep hitting bubbles even if you miss one.
Goal: 15k (I got 17k)
It took a lot of practice, but I ended up getting it, completing the game. Quite frustrating, but its done! Hope this helps!

I think for the Flower Power it probably helps having used the ball in free play, as well as standing a fair way away from the sensor as I managed to get well over 20k in the second and third rounds, the multiplier is key, don't worry about popping all the bubbles just go steady, you have more than enough time. For the third round I found if I just threw vaguely at the centre of the screen I was pretty much guaranteed to hit a bubble with each throw. Personally I found the RC contest prior to flower power the most difficult so far.

Exactly what Gh9st said, I didn't have nearly as much trouble as some people have had. Aim for 10k in the first two rounds and 20k for round three and it's a piece of cake. The kick ball and booting the crabs were the ones that gave me the most trouble but weren't too bad.

On flower power, I got 54k first try with a couple simple changes in play environment.
As you know, if the ball went exactly where you threw it and the game didnt glitch out this would be an easy win. (More luck than skill because you're banking on the controls working correctly) What I did was let a ton of natural light into the room, like one of the other solutions said, and put my kinect on the floor, but stacked on top of 4 game cases.
With this setup, I dont even think I missed one hit that I should've gotten. It may be different for you but just change your room around until you can get it to actually work.

Just a small note to "Flower Power" contest.
1) I never got any close to its completion with an artificial illumination. Never. Doesn't matter how many lamps were used. But completed it with a daylight almost instantly.
2) Don't do any tense movements at any stage. Just be relaxed (but swift of course).
