There is enough gold in the game for a trophy. But you can speed up the process a little: dress in two sets of clothes: Aristocrat and Count, they give you +15% to the sale of loot.

If you vacuum all the bushes, you can get it even before going to the magic factor.

I recommend not bothering with this trophy. 300,000 means all the gold, including the money spent. And there is plenty of it from selling all sorts of trinkets and simply finding it in the game.
