How to unlock the Stealth Killer achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Definitive Guide

In order to get this achievement, you have to stealth kill cumans or bandits. First, you need to unlock the stealth kill perk by getting your stealth level to 5. You can do this by lockpicking chests while crouched, and knocking out people in their sleep. Once you unlock this perk, I would suggest you start the quest ruin (talking to Captain Bernard in Rattay). In this quest you visit different bandit camps around the world and kill them and their leader. I simply waited until it was nighttime, and stealth killed everybody in the camps until the achievement popped. Happy hunting!

The latest DLC added attack dogs to the game. Some camps I snuck into had multiple. They'll sniff you out and start barking waking everyone up, even with "anti-dog" perks and potions active.
My trick was to bait the dogs to charge, then sprint into the woods, kill the dogs quickly, hide in a bush or relocate to remove "in combat" status. Save, then reload, and now the cumans / bandits should've gotten reset to their default nighttime camp positions. Most importantly, the dogs remain dead. Now you're free to sneak in and deliver the stabs.

So what to do when some people in the camp are still awake?

This was awhile ago, but I waited until some of the bandits walked away. If they didn't walk away, I basically just killed them and moved onto the next camp.

This achievement is strictly based on your Stealth Kills statistics on the Player/Statistics tab. You need to reach 20 stealth kills in the same playthrough. This means that you can't have a save and redo the same stealth kill over and over.

First you need to unlock the perk "Stealth Kill" ( Stealth lvl 5 ). You also need a stealth weapon in your inventory - such as a Dagger. You Stealth Kill by sneaking up on enemies (Bandits or Cumans) and holding cn_LT when prompted to. Can also be performed on sleeping enemies - which is the easiest method.

A very good spot to do this on the "Merciful" playthrough is during the mission "Nest of Vipers". There are 30 enemies in this camp and most of them have a rotating schedule of the three perimeter guard posts (main road, main bridge and small bridge). Make sure you have a bunch of Saviour Schnapps so you can save between every few stealth kills. A few Nighthawk potions will also help a lot during the night. I would recommend to have a high Stealth skill before trying this out. I had 20 so I only ever failed when I was sloppy and another guard saw me. Take it slowly and don't rush things. Don't forget to grab the bodies and hide them! It took me almost one full day/night cycle before I had managed to Stealth Kill 26 of the 30 guards. When you're done - just go back to your "Merciful" save.

I was pretty bad at stealth in the game, so one thing that made this trophy much simpler for me was realizing you can stealth kill surrendering enemies. When an enemy crouches down to yield, crouch behind them and as long as you have a dagger in your inventory the stealth kill option will come up.

If you play primarily with a bow like I did I found the most effective way to incentivize enemies to surrender was a chest shot. Headshots are usually fatal and leg shots rarely got the result I was looking for.

Another note, stealth kills don't always register right away. I'd check my stats page in the player page and it wouldn't be registering the stealth kills, and then all of a sudden a bunch would register at once.

To kill enemies by stealth, you'll need to unlock the perk "Stealth Kill", which is available to you when you level up your Stealth to 5. Once you have the perk, get yourself a dagger and equip it. When you sneak up behind an enemy, you'll have the option to either knock them out or kill them. Kill them for it to count.

Killing guards or other random NPCs that are not your usual enemy, like bandits, don't count. Just be careful if you're going for the Merciful trophy, because you'll void it if you kill someone before finishing the main quest.

A great place to start from scratch - Vranik during the mission The die is cast. You need the first hut on the right if you go to the camp from Eric. It seems that every warrior of the camp dreams of standing in the opening of this hut; they go there constantly, as soon as a place is free - you only need 20 willing ones, there are 48 of them in the camp. Attack from the hut and bring the corpse inside, the next one will not even notice it.

The easiest way is to kill the bad guys in the forest camps, that is, bandits, Polovtsians of all kinds.

You approach such a camp at night, while everyone is sleeping, carefully remove the awake sentry (usually he is always alone), then run away and wait until all the awakened enemies calm down. As soon as they settle down in the tents, you quietly sneak into the camp and begin to cut them down in their sleep one by one. If someone accidentally wakes up, then run away and wait until he falls asleep again.

Repeat until victory.

ps Some time after the camp is completely cut out, the adversaries will respawn in it again. Surrendering opponents can be bypassed from behind and also killed “unnoticed.” It was previously written that enemies can be killed unnoticed with a bow, but this is not possible.

The easiest and best way is to quietly kill travelers on the roads, because... you can meet a lot of them + no one will notice.
