How to unlock the Déjà Vu achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide
During the first mission (after the prologue), you will be prompted to do a tutorial with the sword.
After learning all the moves, you will have to duel Capon. Easiest to parry and counter-attack and after around 10 hits, you will unlock the achievement.
**Missable**
At the beginning of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, after you meet the patrol outside the Trosky, you’ll head to the lake nearby and set up camp. There, as part of the prologue, you’ll have to practice your fighting against Capon before you advance the story in the “Easy Riders” main quest.
Simply beat Capon at the end of the combat tutorial and you’ll unlock this achievement. And yes, this is missable. Luckily there’s an autosave nearby so if you fail you can instantly reload the save.
In order to get the better of him, just master the perfect parry and riposte, as well as managing your stamina. I found that defending and counterattacking his attacks was the best way to best him.
Just make sure you switch the right stick to where Capon isn’t covering to try and get the best out of your riposte. Going on the full offensive often meant I ran out of stamina and he countered and battered the hell out of me, so maybe don’t do that.
So, be patient and you’ll soon conquer Capon, and unlock the Déjà Vu achievement in no time whatsoever.
