How to unlock the Déjà Vu achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide

First achievement. Potentially Missable?

During the first mission (after the prologue), you will be prompted to do a tutorial with the sword.
After learning all the moves, you will have to duel Capon. Easiest to parry and counter-attack and after around 10 hits, you will unlock the achievement.

Its awful. I tried so often. Always lost Condition when blocking to often. Is it possible to Stab or only Hit?! And do it depend on which way you Choose before when You First had the Choice?! @BlakManDan

I literally just kept blocking only when the green shield came up, and then countered. Didn’t bother with the right stick (if that’s what you meant).

**Missable**

At the beginning of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, after you meet the patrol outside the Trosky, you’ll head to the lake nearby and set up camp. There, as part of the prologue, you’ll have to practice your fighting against Capon before you advance the story in the “Easy Riders” main quest.

Simply beat Capon at the end of the combat tutorial and you’ll unlock this achievement. And yes, this is missable. Luckily there’s an autosave nearby so if you fail you can instantly reload the save.

In order to get the better of him, just master the perfect parry and riposte, as well as managing your stamina. I found that defending and counterattacking his attacks was the best way to best him.

Just make sure you switch the right stick to where Capon isn’t covering to try and get the best out of your riposte. Going on the full offensive often meant I ran out of stamina and he countered and battered the hell out of me, so maybe don’t do that.

So, be patient and you’ll soon conquer Capon, and unlock the Déjà Vu achievement in no time whatsoever.

Main Quest 2: During sword training, you must win a training fight. The fight will end after enough hits have been dealt. The best way is to parry the attacks. Parry on and attack on

Pinned Ptachek to the fence and spawned with blows changing the direction of blows, not paying attention to the exhausted stamina. Tried to reflect with perfect parry and hit on counterattacks - did not manage to win.
