Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

It wouldn’t be an open-world RPG if there wasn’t some kind of fistfighting tournament of sorts, would it? Yes, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has a brawler tournament of sorts. Well, two.

Yes, that’s right, each region in KCD2 (Trosky and Kuttenberg) has multiple opponents whose arse you must kick in order to take on harder opponents. Once you’ve beaten everyone in the region, you’ll face off against a grandmaster. In Trosky it’s Barnaby, the herbalist; and in Kuttenberg it’s Frantishek, the gravedigger. Beat either of the grandmasters and you’ll unlock this achievement.

The relevant quests and where you can get them are as follows:

Trosky

• Melee at the Mill (Task) - Speak to Kreyzl at the Lower Semine Mill in the southwest of the first map.
• Wine, Woman & Blood (Task) - Speak to Innkeeper Lawrence at the Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn and pay the fight entrance fee and beat all the opponents (you can bypass that fee by speaking to Kreyzl the miller at the Lower Semine Mill).
• Best for Last - Finally, once you’ve completed the aforementioned quests, speak to innkeeper Lawrence after beating everyone in the land and you’ll face off against the true champ of the region, Barnaby.

Kuttenberg

• Fight Dirty (Task) - Speak to Thomas Bruthans in Horschan (south of the Devil’s Den) about the fights to start this side quest.
• Enough (Task) - Speak to innkeeper Zdeslav in Miskowitz to get the lead for this secret fighting ring in the town.
• Teeth in the Bag (Task) - Speak to innkeeper Mole in the Hole in the Wall in southeastern Kuttenberg about the fights that take place there.
• Nail in the Coffin (Task) - Once you defeat all the fighters, speak to innkeeper Mole again, and then head to St Bartholomew at night for your final showdown (St. Bartholomew’s cemetery is in the northwest corner of Kuttenberg) against Frantishek.

While you get nothing for beating grandmaster Barnaby, the herbalist in northeastern Trosky (except getting drunk), if you beat grandmaster Frantishek, the gravedigger at St Bartholomew’s cemetery in northwestern Kuttenberg, you’ll learn the Shoulder Throw combo and Ringen move too.

Either way, beat one of the two grandmasters and you’ll unlock the ‘Henry the Bruiser’ achievement.
