How to unlock the High Noon achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide
**Missable**
You’ll unlock guns and net yourself a Pistole just before the big showdown at the end of the Trosky section in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, in a quest called “The Finger of God” - the game’s 11th main quest.
There are only a handful of occasions throughout the campaign where you’ll actually be able to pull this achievement off - thus the missable tag. So, whenever you see or hear someone with a gun - these situations will likely be in main quests when there’s a vantage point to defend - try and get this achievement.
There are multiple quests where this is possible, but honestly, from the battlements in The Finger of God is probably the best as the enemies shooting at you have next to no armour. When it says to “Defend the castle” and then “Knock down the ladders,” there’s a guy by the wooden fence to the left, at the back, shooting at you. A couple of dead on shots should see him off. One if you’re particularly accurate.
If not, there’s a couple of other scenarios that will crop up later on in the game (i.e. chapter 25 and the in the finale), but honestly, I’d try and get this out of the way in Trosky because the armour on the enemy soldiers is woeful compared to Kuttenberg.
Once you get that kill, you’ll unlock the ‘High Noon’ achievement and never have to use the gun ever again! And if you’re struggling with where to aim, stick a bit of blue tack or tape on your TV where the reticule dot is when you don’t have a ranged weapon out - that’s where to aim.
If you fail the speech check to save Rosa from the tower, you’ll have to fight your way to the top. Once you open the door upstairs, there will be a gun enemy. Simply use your gun and kill him.
