How to unlock the Lent achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide
**Massively Missable**
Perhaps the most annoying - and really pointless - achievement of the lot. It’s simple, but nevertheless annoying. You basically just need to finish the main questline (all 32 quests) without killing or eating an animal.
The eating meat aspect isn’t too much of an issue, as you can just eat bread and cheese throughout. However, avoiding and not killing animals is more of an issue - especially in Trosky, as there seem to be wolves everywhere you go. That said, in Trosky, if you hit a wolf a few times until it’s wounded, it will run off. Just check the stats (below) to make sure it hasn’t run off and bled out. If you can, just avoid anything to do with wolves in general, and when you can, run like the wind to avoid them.
So, save often, be wary you don’t kill or eat any animals, and the ‘Lent’ achievement should be in your grasp when the credits roll. What a weird way to try to spoil the game for someone. Mental.
As an aside, you can check in the stats if you aren’t sure whether you’ve killed an animal or eaten meat:
- Player > Statistics > Combat > Animals killed
- Player > Statistics > General > Meat eaten

If you have to kill wolves in some quests, USE bane poison.
Put it on sword and slash once each, and wait till they die with dot damage.
Then not counted as the number of killing animals.
"Henry's bane poison" will take enemy's life surprisingly fast.
Smoked Cheese is good to eat till ending.
It is not very perishable, light weight, restore 30 nourishment and cheap.
In addition, you can easily buy it in tavern.
You can also use mutt to attack wild animals by holding Y and it still won't count as a kill.
To be safe though I still check the animals killed stat after every wolf.
Regarding food: you can eat any soups - meat in them (if any) does not count.
DON'T EAT THE FISH! I had to roll away for five hours because of the bass I ate.
On killing animals: only wolves can attack you. It is allowed to cut them down hand-to-hand.
Carefully read the conditions for receiving. In short, there will be quests for hunting: it will be easier to finish the game, then return to the save and not worry about the achievement Post. And also quest 29, where you do NOT need to cook soup.
