How to unlock the Reforged achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide

During the main quest, “Storm,” where you unlock the Vengeance (10G) achievement for taking down Istvan, you’ll finally get your hands on the sword that Henry has searched far and wide for - AKA his biological father’s sword, aptly called Radzig Kobyla’s Sword.

On its own, the longsword is a decent enough sword, but if you head to a Smithy and get on the anvil, you can actually create a new one: the Reforged Radzig Kobyla’s Sword, which can reach up to 190 slash damage and 199.5 stab damage, if you’re a master blacksmith (and don’t screw it up).

All you need for this is the base sword and 3 x Toledo Steel, which is sold in most of the shops in Kuttenberg (check swordsmiths and armoursmiths as they’ll no doubt have some in stock).

Once you have the sword and the Toledo Steel, all you need to do is forge it. Now, unlike the horseshoes and bog standard swords, this is a trickier sword to forge. So, take your time, constantly heat it up (not too much) and honestly, I’d prepare a save before you even try it just in case - we actually messed it up the first time, d’oh!

Once the Reforged Radzig Kobyla’s Sword is in your grasp, so is the ‘Reforged’ achievement.

You get your sword back after the Mission “Storm”.

Go to Sigismunds camp, the blacksmiths when you can, and buy the crafting components you need to reforge your sword. Simply forge it and achievement unlocked!

First, you need to get the longsword of Radzig Kobyla, which is automatically unlocked in the main quest 12. Then go to any blacksmith, interact with the anvil and select this very sword to upgrade it. This requires 3 pieces of Toledo steel, which can be bought from blacksmiths in Kuttenberg.
