How to unlock the Remember, Remember… achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - Definitive Guide
**Highly Missable**
If you head into the Hoprink region in southeast Kuttenberg, you’ll find a chap sitting down in The Hole in the Wall tavern called Chenyek.
Now, if you head there too soon he’ll have a quest marker above his head but you won’t be able to interact with him. However, once you’ve completed Katherine’s main quest, “Into the Underworld” (the 16th main quest), you’ll be able to start his questline.
The Guild quest line involves 3 different quests:
- Feast for the Poor - Speak to Chenyek at The Hole in the Wall to start this quest.
- The Thieves’ Code (Task) - Finish Feast for the Poor and then ask Chenyek if he has any other work.
- The Spark - And finally, you’ll need to wait for this to pop up, but a week or so later (in-game), we were travelling along the road (fast travel) from Miskowitz to Suchdol when I was stopped by a messenger from the Guild, who says Chenyek wishes to speak to me. You also need to have completed the 17th main quest, “Via Argentum.”
The ‘Remember, Remember’ achievement refers to that last quest, “The Spark,” which has you blowing up the mine that you explored in Via Argentum.
The Spark side quest will basically see you “borrow” some gunpowder from Sigismund, to then take it down into the mine to blow it up. However, this is a bit of a troll achievement, as you have to basically trigger the game over screen.
You do that by purposely failing the quest by killing Goliath (when you get to the mine entrance and you have to take the gunpowder to the adit). Then, once you’ve done that, head back to the building where you met Goliath (and the other Guild members are) and you can now interact with the cooking pot over the fire by pressing the button to “Throw barrel into the fire.”
Once you do, the ‘Remember, Remember…” achievement will unlock and you’ll be dead. Very dead. Now you can load the latest save and finish the quest properly.
Whilst fast travelling, you’ll be stopped by a messenger escort boy, stop and talk to him. He tells you Chenyek has another quest for you, starting “The Spark”.
Follow through the easy quest till you get to Goliath at the camp. Follow him to the mines, but instead kill him. It’ll say quest failed, but go back to the camp and click on the soup pot.
Achievement unlocked, then you can reload and finish the quest.
