Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

First things first, the only way in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 to get executed is to a.) cause a proper crime like murder, and then accept to be branded; and then b.) in the next 48 hours (in-game), you commit another atrocity and surrender to the guard. Doing so will mean execution is on the cards for you.

So, kill someone, take your branding, but before you surrender for the second time, though, make sure you pop a Strong Lion potion, to boost your Charisma by +7. We recommend doing this somewhere in the Trosky region, as it’s much more forgiving there too.

We did this in Troskowitz - where we had great standing - and after we were branded, we killed the housemaid in front of the Apothecary and then stood over the body - Gerda, the Apothecary’s wife then came up and ran to tell a guard.

Then, after surrendering to the guard, you need to talk your way out of it otherwise you’re heading to the gallows. We did this with only level 20 Charisma (including a +9 boost), 28 Speech and 22 Persuasion. At this point we had the following perks:

• Flower Power (a Survival perk, that gives a +2 to Charisma if you’re carrying many herbs)
• Burgher (a main level perk which gives a +1 to Speech in civilised areas)
• Local Hero (another main level perk that boosts all stats by +2 in areas with good standing).

This meant we had multiple options:

• 800 gold fine.
• [Medium] We can come to an arrangement.
• [Medium] Do you know who I am?
• [Hard] Let me go or else!
• [Hard] The law is on my side.

We obviously went for the “we can come to an arrangement” and the guard bought it. As a result we escaped the gallows, and on top of that, unlocked the ‘Slip the Noose’ achievement. So, basically, make sure your sharp tongued and have sufficient speech and charisma skills, and do it in Troskowitz, and you should be golden.
