For me it popped immediately after the cutscene. Some of the achievements in this game might be glitched. I managed to miss

. Thankfully the game saves at the start of each story quest, so if you need to you can just reload again later.

I went to Rattay and watched the whole cutscene and it didn't pop, are you sure it pops after that cutscene? Or do you have to do the training and the patrol first?

Or is my game not popping it for some reason?

When you go to speak with Sir Radzig in Rattay, you'll go through a cutscene and get the achievement.
