How to unlock the Gambler achievement in Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Definitive Guide

I'm not too sure how this works, but the northern tavern in sasau has a little exploit for making this achievement easier to get. When you challenge a person at the dice table and win they usually leave right after so you would need to wait for someone else to come. I've tested this and have found out that the northern sasau tavern replaces it's dice players rather quickly. After winning I would travel down to the south district for about 30 seconds and when I come back there would be a new player at the table. Lowest amount I saw that you could possibly win with each person was about 68 groschen, some would have more to bet. I was able to start playing dice after 11am-11pm.

Hope this helps

I haven't tried the exploit in Sasau yet but i've found out by accident that there is a guy in Uzhitz you can play with indefinitely and he always has 100 groschen! He doesn't even get up after losing so there is no need to wait or travel anywhere, just beat him over an over again. So i highly recommend checking out the Tavern in Uzhitz! toast

Actually he only has a lot of money. I played him but on the 9th game he only had 64 coins left >< So I lost twice on purpose to give him some money and win my 10th 100 coins bet. Still a very nice place to grind as he does have 900+ on him.

At every tavern (the locations with an ale tankard icon) there is a dice table. Whether somebody is sitting at it or not is another matter.

A good trick to this achievement is that if you lose money to the person, it doesn't count against your winnings. Therefore if you had 1,000 Groschen, lost it to your opponent (by betting the maximum of 100 then pressing cn_B to back out of the game) you can just play him over and over and win it all back.

I hope this helps,

Let' keep cheevin' together!

To find someone to play dice against, simply look around at bars and taverns. You'll see a small table with two stools and a dice board on it. When you see someone sitting at one of these tables, approach and you can play against them. I have found no pattern to suggest when is the best time to find an opponent to play against; it seems completely random. But I did jump around to a few different places. There may be obvious schedules at certain places, and if anyone figures them out, I'll add them to this solution.

Edit: Nevermind. Check SwaRoDia XP's guide for a good place to grind this. I haven't tested this myself, though.

One thing that I found to expedite this is to simply lose a few matches (which might happen naturally anyway given the random AI) and make sure your opponent has 100 Groschen to gamble with. Once you can bet 100 Groschen, you can win a game and add 10% to your tracker for this achievement.

So, my recommendation is to have enough Groschen that you can lose enough to get your opponent to have 100 on hand, then beat him. This can be sped up if you have so much money that it doesn't matter how much you lose, so you can just play against someone indefinitely for 100 Groschen a round as long as you make sure to lose now and then to keep their coffers full.

If you lose, there is no penalty to this achievement, but you will lose Groschen. Once you play the main game for a bit you'll be quite rich anyway (well, if you play as a thug who robs anyone and anything like I do).

Another thing to note is that there are apparently dice you can find that make winning easier, but I've been playing the game for a while and haven't found any dice to call my own, so I just use what I'm given.

This has to be done all in one save, so you can't save, win, then load and win again. You'll have to do it all on one file.

Weighted dice

Some opponents have weighted dice that you can pickpocket/knockout and rob/kill and loot from them. You can also find dice from various treasure maps and quests.

There's likely better ones, but my set is

Lu
Ci
Fer
Lucky
Lucky Playing
Shrinking

It hits some 1's for 1000 points and 6's for upwards of 3000 points.

You'll find dice tables around most taverns you visit. You can play if someone is sitting at one of the tables. The place that I've found the easiest to play is the tavern in Sasau. During the main quest "Keeping the Peace", you'll be shown how to play the game.

Every time you play, always do the max bet. The person you're playing against will stay and continue to play as long as they have money to do so. Once they run out, they'll leave. It's better to try and go for this when you have obtained some of the rigged dice that you can find throughout the game. They are mostly located in the treasure spots located around the world.

We lose a lot of money to the players in taverns (this also increases their reputation), then we win back.

At the beginning of the game, throwing out winning combinations is quite a chore, so I recommend that you first run around and collect all kinds of treasures (fortunately, maps to find them are not difficult to find). Most often, in treasures you can, among other things, find various cheating dice (they can be called whatever you like, but it doesn’t change the essence). Occasionally, sharp dice can be bought from random beggars encountered on the roads, but the option of finding treasures is faster and more reliable.

By collecting these dice, as well as learning the “Perfect Throw” ability, which opens at level 12 of the “Dexterity” stat, you will be able to win parties in just a couple of throws, leaving your opponents penniless.

ps The total amount of money won in dice can be viewed in the section: “Player” > “Statistics” > “Gambling”.

I noticed that you only have to win once and the player immediately stops playing, you can speed up the process, go to the tavern just below the Monastery, as a rule, a player sits there with a capital of 80 to 100, we start playing with him, we lose to him as much as you are short of the trophy , the joke is that now until you win this amount he won’t go back, we win it and the trophy is in your pocket.

After the restoration of Pribyslavitz (dls), two dice players will sit in the tavern, each of whom will have 100 groschen with them. They are updated every day. Game version 1.6.3
