This achievement can be earned during the quest called The Sport of Kings. This quest becomes available shortly after the main quest called Baptism by Fire and can be accepted at the Neuhof Stables. I had to do the side quest for the Talmberg master hunter before the Innkeeper at the Inn in the Glade would tell me about it. I'm not sure if that's required though.

To get this achievement you must win the race and get the best possible outcome. There are three possible outcomes for this quest. The one that got me the achievement was for coming in first place and Sir Divish agreeing to only buy his horses from the Neuhof stable. The achievement popped immediately after winning the race and talking to him.

The achievement did not pop for me when I thought I had won and he said he would buy half his horses from Neuhof and half from Uzhitz. So make sure you actually win, because the quest told me I had won but I didn't get the best possible outcome, which I believe is for coming in first place.

The race itself is easy because you can take a ton of shortcuts by cutting through fields and your opponents won't. They're still as fast as you and perfect riders, so don't ever assume the shortcut put you too far ahead. I doubt it's possible to win legitimately. I suggest saving the game before the race starts.

I started the quest after the Innkeeper was swinging from a tree and the Talmberg Master Hunter was banished from Talmberg... no need to speak to them toast

I did it after Judas and Master Huntsman. I don’t think it’s missable unless you manage to kill Zora somehow wink

Yeah, I meant that maybe you can only start this quest after "Hare Hunt" because there were no Innkeeper notifications on the map. Yeah, banishing the Master Hunter is a must for another achievement anyway. This is missable right? Or can you do races afterwards? I never checked.

I can confirm I immediately got off my horse and failed the race. Sir Divish bought all of the horses and my achievement popped! I think you have to pass the speech check before the race starts with Sir Divish in order for this to work. Happy hunting!

The Talmberg horse race is only held during the Talmberg Horse Race quest.

You have to ride on the horse given, no using Warhorse Jenda. The competition is really fast, but luckily, you don't have to use the road. If you get pretty good at running through the woods, you shouldn't have a problem. The shortest distance between two points is always a straight line, and the NPCs always use the curvy main roads. Just watch out for hills and tree branches, because for some reason, Henry still takes leg fall damage from two inches even though he's on a horse.

This takes place during the side quest "The Sport of Kings Side". You can obtain this quest by talking to Zora in Neuhof after you finish the main quest "Baptism by Fire".

Follow the quest and talk to Sir Divish. Convince him and he'll suggest a horse race. Talk to the Stablemaster, then wait for the race. Now all you have to do is win the race. This is simple enough by just heading straight for the markers. You don't have to stick to the paths so you can cut through the grass and fields. Doing this, you shouldn't have any issues winning.

Once you've won, talk to Sir Divish again and he'll start buying horses from Zora again.

After the story quest with the stables in Neuhof, the groom's wife asks you to find out why Sir Divish from Talmberg stopped buying horses from her.
As a result of the quest, we will need to take part in the race and come to the finish line first. During the race, it is better to follow the first participant so that he shows the way, since there will be no markers. After collecting the last checkpoint, near the quarry, you can cut along the slope on the left and calmly come first.

The quest begins with the innkeeper in the In the Clearing tavern northwest of Neuhof. The owner of the stable will not give you a quest just like that.

Please note that the race must be won on the horse that is given to you at the stable (Dapple Gray Zora). After you ride it to Talmberg, a day will have to pass before the start of the race. During this time, I rode off on other quests and forgot where I left it. I did not start the task on my horse, and at the same time there was no marker for the horse on which I needed to win the race

I encountered a bug where the rest of the race participants did not appear. To do this, after the marker for the start of the race appears, wait on it until the start by rewinding time. The trophy will fall without racing.

I don’t know what the trigger is for the start of the quest, but it’s definitely not just the story quest in Neuhof. I completed the ENTIRE storyline, but no one gave this task, neither Zora nor Ondrej (although the quest icon on him was on throughout the game). When replaying after completing the “True Friends” quest, Ondrej, instead of the “Masquerade” quest, told me to go to Zora, she has problems with horses. I read that the quest is issued only with sufficient horse riding skill. Yeah... It was 20 - no one gave it away... Now it's 12 - it appeared. Also, not very good advice.
So I think that the trigger is still the plot in Neuhof + tasks with our friends from Skalitsa.
As for the trophy itself, everything here is normally very simple.
He started racing, decided to cut... collected all the bushes, arrived at Uzhitsa, when everyone had already galloped away from there. When he took the bandage, he fell from his horse, hitting the roof. I wanted to replay it, but I decided to watch the entire route. He rode further on his slow horse and took the second bandage. At the same time, I thought that the others were already finishing the race. But no! The rest probably trudged on foot to the second point. I overtook them so much that I was already driving my horse after the trophy to Zora, and the other horsemen only rode up to Talmberg.
PS. I didn't change the horse. Riding skill - 12. A draft horse (not a racing horse) is selected.

It works on version 1.3. At the end, do not forget to change to the quest horse, otherwise the quest will not close.
