After meeting with Donald and Goofy in Traverse Town and taking a quick visit to Cid's shop, you come to notice these marks on the ground shaped with 3 hearts on them. These are called Trinity Marks and there are many scattered throughout all of the worlds. When you first get introduced to the Trinity Marks the only ones you're able to trigger are the blue trinity marks, however as you progress through the game you learn new trinity abilities and by the end game you should be able to trigger all of them (with the exception of one which must be done through optional means). Here is the list and order in which you'll obtain each Trinity Ability:
- Trinity Jump (Blue): This will be the first Trinity Ability and will unlock after defeating Guard Armor in Traverse Town at the start of the game.
- Trinity Jump (Red): This will unlock after sealing the keyhole in Deep Jungle.
- Trinity Ladder (Green): This will unlock after sealing the keyhole in Agrabah.
- Trinity Push (Yellow): This will unlock after clearing the Hercules Cup.
- Trinity Detect (White): This will unlock after defeating Riku in Hollow Bastion.
To activate a Trinity Mark, you must have the original trio - Sora, Donald and Goofy - in your party. In other worlds if you have either Donald or Goofy switched out you will not be able to trigger it. For a list of all the Trinity Mark Locations please refer to the KH Wiki Trinity Mark Page.
